I have mixed feelings about it. The tint blends well with my light-medium skin tone and provides a subtle, natural-looking coverage that's perfect for low-key days. However, I found the formula to be on the oily side, which isn't ideal for my already combination skin. One thing to note is that the product tends to separate if not shaken well before use, which can be a bit annoying when you're in a rush. On the plus side, it offers high SPF protection and feels lightweight on the skin. While it's not my holy grail sunscreen, it's a decent option for those days when I want minimal coverage and sun protection in one step.

I have to admit that I was initially drawn to the Solaria Mineral SPF 50+ Antioxidant Sunscreen Serum because of its celebrity endorsement from Sofia Vergara. And after trying it out, I'm happy to report that it didn't disappoint! This mineral sunscreen goes on smoothly and feels lightweight, leaving no greasy residue behind. It also provides excellent broad spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays, thanks to its high SPF rating.

But while I appreciate the "universal tint" claim, I don't think it quite lives up to that promise. While the shade does blend well with my fair skin tone, I worry that it may be too pale for those with deeper complexions. In fact, I tested it out on a friend who has a medium-dark skin tone, and she found that the tint looked slightly chalky and unnatural.

Despite this minor flaw, I still give the Solaria Mineral SPF 50+ Antioxidant Sunscreen Serum 4 out of 5 stars. Its water resistance, antioxidant properties, and overall performance make it a great option for anyone looking for a reliable facial sunscreen. Just keep in mind that the "universal tint" may not be truly universal, so you may want to test it out before committing to a full purchase.

I wanted to love this, but sadly, this product fell short for me. The tint isn’t really universal. I’m a 4 on the Fitzpatrick scale with a warm, medium complexion. This left a lighter cast on me. And strangely enough, it felt oily when applying, dried down in a weird waterproof way, yet still felt oily and was difficult to get off. Overall, I just didn’t like or love the feel on my skin. I triple cleansed with an oil based cleanser first, then exfoliated and finished up with a water based cleanser to make sure everything was removed.

Because I wasn’t crazy about the feel of it as is, I probably will not try to layer it underneath makeup.

This mineral sunscreen is different from others I've used. I like it, but there are some minor reasons for me opting for four stars instead of five. Mostly I think it's just a very good product that isn't for everyone.

The tint is great for me, especially right now after having gone through the winter (and being as colorless as I get). I would say it even works as a primer would...having a tone-evening quality. The color certainly isn't going to work for everyone though. If you're fair-skinned, I think you're going to be happy with this. If you otherwise use mineral sunscreens, I still think this is a step in the right direction over the ghost-face/chalky look you are typically left with...but all others should take notice as you may not be satisfied.

You definitely want to shake this each time before use. I did not do so once, and clear liquid came out...which both was slightly annoying and made me wonder what I had lost going forward.

This is definitely thinner than most other mineral sunscreens. I kind of like that because it absorbs/rubs in better, but I also wonder if it's not creating quite as strong of a barrier as some of the thicker ones. It's hard to know for sure, but my wife doesn't think the protection lasts quite as long as some of the others she uses. As long as you apply it every 2 hours, I think you're fine.

I kind of like the scent...my wife kind of doesn't (but doesn't hate it).

This is not an inexpensive product, but I think it's worth a look if the things I mentioned don't trouble you.

WOW! this is genuinely the greatest sunscreen i have EVER tried- i gave it a month to give an honest review and im so impressed!!! I have combination skin and finding a sunscreen that works with my skin is tough, ive tried so many other brands and none compare to this.. i used to hate reapplying sunscreen throughout the day and this has made it an easy its non-greasy non-smelly

This sunscreen is definitely a serum and not your typical sunscreen! It’s super runny – I kept thinking that it must have separated in the bottle, but the color and texture were even and all the shaking in the world didn’t make it any thicker. It blends in almost invisibly with my fair skin, definitely less tinted than any sort of foundation would be. Not sure how it would work on darker skin tones, though. It doesn’t leave any chalky residue like many mineral sunscreens. The bottle is very small and quite expensive, so not something to use every day. It seems to work ok, although I haven’t had the opportunity to test it for longer than an hour or two yet. I will update this review if I have trouble with sunburns while using it over the summer, but as of now, it’s fine. All in all, it’s a nice sunblock SERUM with a big price tag.
