Simplehuman makes great products!! I love this trashcan. It takes up slightly less floorspace compared to my circluar SS mini step can that I had previously, in the bathroom. That can would clang aginst the toilet or the wall everytime I opened it. This one being the semi round shape doens't have the same banging against things problem. Love that it's a white steel. It';s a clean new option and looks great in my newly renovated black and white bathroom. Regular plastic grocery store bags fit as liners for this can but the simple human liners are the perfect fit. It shipped with a few free bags and I am sad that I am on my last one of those because they fit perfectly without showing at all. Plastic grocery bags poof out at the edge a little bit. The only thing that could posisbly make this garbagecan any better is if there was a small lip on the SS protion of the lid. Just a 1/3-1/2" would be just perfect to be able to open the lid with a nudge of your hand, if you are already on the ground cleaning/picking up hair, instead of stepping on the step to open it. But maybe that can be included in the next model of this can.

I like a lot of the products Simplehuman makes. I have a large can in my kitchen that I’ve had for years. Solid, opens and closes well, quiet operation, generous spacious interior, looks stylish even for a trash can so I’m not embarrassed to have it seen in the kitchen. In fact I like seeing it because it looks quite good. Great bags though a bit pricey. They’re making the bags thinner now by the way. My last order the bags are noticeably thinner. I love, love, love it( the can). So I needed a can in an area of the bathroom with almost no space. So thought I’d give this little one a try. And with a lid because I don’t like to see the trash. I’ve had it a short time so can’t speak to its durability but so far so good. I bought the bags meant for it though a person could use comparable sized bags to save a little.

Not only does it look good in my bathroom, it’s also great quality. The lid top is smudgeproof, which I much appreciate, and the soft close really works well - totally quiet. I bought this for the master bath and a less expensive (very noisy and clunky) step trash can for the guest bathroom, but there was no comparison between the two. Returned the cheap one and ordered a second Simplehuman.

really nice and sturdy little bin perfect for a bedroom rather than a bathroom though both rooms with this bin will not look out of place...quite expensive though should be about £15 really rather than the nearly 20-25 theyr charging it is a bin after all
