Local woman missing is a good book, i’m not going to say great but it will keep your attention and it’s a very easy read. This book is laid out in three different perspectives, each perspective correlating to a different character. The 3 characters being Meredith, Leo and Kate. Each character describes the events that lead up to Shelby, Meredith and Delilah going missing. Throughout the book various different characters are given motives as to why they would want any of these girls to go missing. My biggest complaint with this book is that it becomes fairly obvious about 3/4 through the book who did it and the rest of the book is explaining what happened and why it happened. Although there were other suspects the book tried to persuade you to find guilty, to me it just wasn’t that much of a plot twist. Now i’m not saying that i expected it all i’m saying is I was hoping for something more shocking, more thrilling and this book simply just wasn’t this. There are small little ties throughout the book that connect characters to other characters, which i enjoy the small details. There are lots of positives to this book it’s well written easy to follow along. Just as a whole I was hoping for more from this book which is why I only gave it 3 stars. If you’re looking for a book with plot twist that are unforeseeable and a book that you are not going to want to set down then let me suggest The inmate by Freida Mcfadden
