PROBLEM 1 - with this unit is that the attachment rotates around when I'm using it, making it a real hassle to keep it positioned in my mouth where I want it.
Combine this with the fact that water is dripping out of my mouth (as it should be) but then the water is going all over my arm, and spraying on the mirror, as I try to keep the thing positioned correctly.
If this rotation is a good thing for users then I would like to have a way to also lock it in place.
PROBLEM 2 - the cord from the unit to the attachment is wound in a tight spiral that maintains its tightness, making it impossible for the cord to stretch it's actual length, making it a very short cord in actuality
Creating more difficulty in keeping the thing positioned properly to get the job done.
NOTES for users
1. Water is not only in the detachable tub but also in the unit, so even if the tub is empty there can be cold water held in the bottom of the unit, which comes out first before the warm water in the tub, so I empty the unit completely by holding the attachment upside down below the unit after use.
2. Where I live the water is very hard, so this is another good reason to empty the unit completely after each use, so hard water deposits take longer to build up.
3. The product description says it removes plaque. But to be clear, water irrigation systems are not meant to replace flossing, they are in addition to. I got this because my gums have receded and floss only gets between teeth, not under the gum in the front and back of teeth.
