Isaiah House Ongoing Needs
Isaiah House has an annual budget of $2,871,000. A large portion of our budget is spent on managing the facility costs and providing the residents, primarily the youth, with activities that add an element of normalcy to their lives. Unfortunately, sometimes we go without if we don’t have the proper funding to cover the costs of these items. It would be a tremendous help to the agency and our overall budget if we could spend less in some of these areas. By purchasing items from our wish list, you are effectively reducing our budget and helping us meet our other financial responsibilities that are sometimes placed on hold. Last year, Isaiah House spent $4,264.74 on office supplies, $18,191.37 in client support (activities and individual client needs), $33,753.17 in maintenance costs (cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, paint, bulbs, batteries, etc.), $64,496.87 in kitchen supplies (food, paper products, foil/plastic wrap, latex gloves, milk, etc) and $15, 833.26 on linens and miscellaneous supplies. All items posted to these lists will contribute to purchases in each of these 5 categories. With over 7,000 people served in 2016 via our food pantry and within our programs in and out of our facility, Isaiah House continues to effectively address the most vulnerable and fragile populations in our community.
