She admitted that she was not able to vacuum more than a few times a month because the effort of using her old vacuum wiped her out. Yeah, who gives a vacuum for a present? Well her reviews are in! Best birthday present ever. She says it easily vacuums the hair of her two cats, handles her old shag rug without jamming, and is easy and lightweight enough that she is using it every few days. Battery time is plenty long enough to cover the main portions of her 3 bedroom house and she also noted that it is BEAUTIFUL! I was concerned she wouldn't like the bag-less design, as she had a bag-less vacuum before and hated it. In this case, the ease of ejecting the contents over the garbage has been completely fine.

This vacuum is perfect. It is light, powerful and easy to clean. The battery life is only about 45 minutes on the middle power mode and maybe 15 minutes on high power. It’s enough that I can do 4 bedrooms, 2 dining rooms, two living rooms (including furniture) and 2 sets of stairs. This used to take me about 2 hours, now it takes me 35 to 40 minutes. It goes under every item in my house. Cleaning it is simple. Once a week I need to wash the cloth filter, that takes about 24 hours to dry. There is a detangler that keeps hair from binding on the roller, this works but I still need to clean that sometimes . You should buy this if you want to save time and have a lightweight powerful machine.

It works like a dream! We have 2 long haired people and a long haired cat even if the hair wraps around the roller, it easily opens up to clean the roller. It takes less than 5 mins to remove wrapped hair and it isn’t required to fully dismantle anything. Beautiful user guide is all pictures and easy to follow.

I bought this vacuum because I have two dogs and a cat that shed a lot of hair. The vacuum does a good job of picking up pet hair from different surfaces, such as hardwood floors, carpets, and furniture. It has a lot of attachments and tools that make it easy to clean different areas. It is also cordless and lightweight, which makes it convenient to use.
However, I have some issues with this vacuum. First of all, the battery life is not very long. It only lasts for about 20 minutes on the highest power setting, which is not enough to clean my whole house. I have to recharge it several times to finish the job. Second, the dustbin is quite small and needs to be emptied frequently. It is also messy to empty, as the dust and hair tend to stick to the inside of the bin. Third, the vacuum does not feel very sturdy. Some parts of it are made of cheap plastic that can break easily. I have already replaced the wand and the filter because they cracked.
Overall, I think this vacuum is good for pet owners who need a powerful and versatile vacuum, but it is not very durable or reliable. It is also quite expensive for what it offers. I would recommend looking for other options before buying this one.
Ended up returning it and got V15 instead, Dyson is a trusted brand!

I finally pulled the trigger on this sucker. Literally and figuratively. I’d been eyeballing it for about 9 months after using a friends. It is everything I hoped it would be. We have a dog that sheds like it’s his job and 3 kittens that are equally as hairy.

I was a bit concerned that being cordless would mean sacrificing a bit of suction. Nope. It’s as sucky as they come, if not suckier. It gets all the hair and dirt! I had purchased another brand (corded) vacuum less than a year ago and had nothing but problems with it. I used it right before opening the Dyson (which I have named Mike Tyson the Dyson by the way), then used the Dyson right afterwards… it was AMAZING how much stuff the old vacuum missed that I didn’t even realize. Our house is mostly hardwoods with some low pile carpeting and it works equally well on both. Another concern I had was the 40 minute run time. Would it be enough time for a full vacuum of my (2000+sq/ft) house? It is. A big part of the reason for that is because it’s SO easy to pull this thing off it’s charger and spot vacuum, I do it far more frequently. No more animal hair tumble weeds that magically appear overnight. The coolest feature is how all of the pieces snap in effortlessly. You can make it long or short and put different attachments on either. I can finally reach my porch ceiling without a chair or ladder! Also, if you need to bring it somewhere away from your house, you can detach it and still bring the cord if you need to charge it without using the docking station.

This is obviously not an inexpensive buy, but in my opinion, it’s worth the money. I was sick of buying mediocre ones every couple of years. This comes with a 2 year warranty and lifetime assistance. I kept my eye on it and once the price went down to $399, I bought it. I’ve managed to talk 2 other friends into buying one since I bought mine 8 weeks ago and they are both equally as happy.
