I don't think it should be compared to Beauty and the Beast at all. The authors have good character development but I thought this book was ridiculous and the whole deal with her one mate, gets old real quick. Otherwise if you like to read about men together and then adding a female, this book is for you. I did not enjoy it and it grossed me out.

I’m absolutely in love with this book, I screamed at the last page because I couldn’t believe there wasn’t more. The characters are well thought out, and I loved the nods to beauty and the beast. This is so much more than a BATB retelling - I started and finished it the same day. This book has a hold on me and I will probably reread it again before the second comes out.

Where did this book come from?! It was a perfect retelling of B&TB with why choose, fated mates and a fae world hidden from the human world. I absolutely loved the world building and the character growth we got in book 1, I can not wait for book 2.

While the steamy scenes that were there were hot (hello Farron and Day!!!), there weren't a lot of them in this book, I would hope to see more in book 2 as the relationships develop more.

This book hooked me in right away. I love the descriptive language used. I felt like I could see this world in my mind. Beauty and the beast was always my favorite Disney movie and seeing how the author took this in her own unique way was amazing!! I'm only sad I finished it so fast!
