With destiny pushing me closer and closer to each of my Bonds, I’m fighting tooth and nail against nature to keep my distance.

But they’re fighting harder to keep me in their grasp.

They say to keep your friends close but your enemies closer;
What if they’re one and the same?
The stable foundation I thought I’d built in the Sanctuary has been ripped away, and I find myself on the front lines of the war against the Resistance. I might have my Bonds on my side, but there are darker schemes in motion.
Can I prove myself and turn the tide to protect our most vulnerable, or am I nothing more than the monster they’ve always claimed I am?
Will we make it out of this without tragic consequences?

Nothing will ever be the same again.

Our Bonded Group has been torn apart, and the monsters are now the prey.

But we’re not going to just wait around for our enemy to strike; the blood on his hands is unforgivable, and the god living inside of me wants her revenge paid in blood.

And a thousand souls.

We have been pushed to the limit, tested in ways that have devastating outcomes, and paid the ultimate price. Can we recover from such losses? Is the promise of a world without our enemy worth the sacrifices we’ve made?

Can we prove to everyone, and ourselves, that together our bonds are unbroken?

The gods live among us.

I thought that the death of the man who tortured me, broke me, and then hunted me to the ends of the Earth would be the end of our fight; but it’s only the beginning.

After thousands of years of being apart, our god bonds are reunited once again; and they’re not ready to go down without a fight.

They’ve woken up hungry.

All of the research in the world couldn’t have prepared us for what’s to come, enemies and wars fought over millennia. Now we’re being forced to act, but this time, we have the advantage.

This time, we’re Bonded.

Are we strong enough to survive the gods and their plans? Will we ever live in the peaceful world we’ve fought so hard for, or is history doomed to repeat itself?

*Unbroken Bonds is a full-length reverse harem PNR novel with material that may be difficult for some readers. This book is the final installment and will not end on a cliffhanger. It's recommended for 18+ due to language and sexual situations. Book 6 in the 6 book series.

Starting out the gate, the author came up with some strong characters that caught me from the beginning. The premise too, was unique, and I totally love that. Nothing pulls my attention quicker and keeps it more than a unique story with captivating characters; that’s why I went with four stars instead of three. In reality, I would give this series a three and a half. As I moved through the books it became evident the author’s plot for this story changed during writing, which is to be expected, but it didn’t flow as neat and tidy as it probably should have. Not a bad flow, just don’t squint too much or look on purpose for plot holes and you’ll be just fine. The writing is not the strongest either, but it’s a reverse harem book so I doubt you’re here for a treatise on word peace; I mean let’s face it, we’re all here for the same thing and it’s not contemplation of advanced editing techniques or a critique of writing style. That being said, this book series did what it was designed to do, it got me through a stressful slump in my life by providing me with an outlet where I didn’t have to think or worry about anything important. It was pretty much the equivalency to trashy reality tv, and that’s exactly what I wanted. I loved every minute of it, and even found myself on team Nox in the end; because you will be on a team, it’s inevitable and happens to everyone. I feel like there is probably a Reddit thread out there somewhere on this, that’s how sure of it I am.

I really enjoyed this series. I read all 6 in about 5 days; I couldn’t put it down! I really appreciated the care the author put into creating this world of Gifted, bonds, and all that came with it. It was a creative take, and the character development was really well done. I’ll probably be rereading this series.

For something that sees to advertise more towards the adult romance genre, it took a real strong turn into YA. The writings is grammatically decent, but the characters would fit right in with the high school angst books. 3 stars for writing well enough for me to hate all of the characters by the end of the first book. Made it through 3 and half - they did not grow up.

This whole series had me in a chokehold as soon as I started Broken Bonds I couldn't stop reading it. It took me on an emotional roller-coaster I was balling alot through out the six books. It had me stunned as well. The Shadow Puppies were so adorable. I want one. I loved seeing Nox North Gryphon Gabe and Atlas grow along side Oli and learn to accept each other and their other selves.

I've read this series like 5 times and will read it again. The writing is phenomenal and I can't keep away from this epic whirlwind of emotions, sass, and plot twists. As a matter of fact, I'm going to read it again.

I read the whole series over Memorial Day weekend. It wraps up well but I honestly could keep reading this series if she wrote more. LOVED it. I haven't sat down to read like this since before kids lol.

I don’t often review books, just because I read so many of them. And nothing usually catches my fancy enough to actually leave a review with few exceptions. This is 100% one of those exceptions. I barreled through the five books available in 3 days. It’s one of the most well-written, unique, engaging books I’ve read in any genre in a long time. I cannot sing praises high enough. I’m mildly surprised it took me so long to find this series, though I’m glad in a way that it did. I can’t imagine finding book one when it came out a year ago and then having to wait for the slow trickle of releases. I can handle waiting for the last book to be released. But the character development is excellent and the story arcs for each of the bonds is spectacular. I know many readers feel some kind of way about each of Oli’s bonds in the beginning. And the first two books may be frustrating and tough to get through. But you can tell that J. Bree had the entire story plotted out before she began (which I think is the mark of a great author) because nothing gets lost to the “ether” of the storyline. I hate when books in longer series bring up something seemingly important in the early books, only to conveniently forget it was a thing later on. None of that happens here. Her storyline is tight and well thought through. Please do yourself a favor and read this series. If you’re a fan of any of the genres presented here, I guarantee you will find something enjoyable in this series.
