Ivy Asher has written an incredible series. Following Vinny from her first fight to her very last was captivating and intriguing. I binged the whole series in less than a week.

The world building and magic mechanisms actually lend to the plot instead of just being a cool once-off hook. Discovering Vinna’s power along with her as she navigates relationships with her Chosen makes this a whychoose series that touches on all the right points. I really, really love what a total little bada$$ Vinna is. She’s not just a petulant or emotionally stunted heroine but a genuine leader who is not afraid to take charge. This is one of those rare characters who was written so that moments of vulnerability add to her growth instead of taking away from her power. There is also a really healthy dynamic between her and her boys, and the banter is sometimes snort-laugh worthy. These books are genuinely funny and I found myself giggling out loud more than once. May I also add that I wish I had magic to remove body hair and dry my hair into perfect waves without effort? The books do end on cliffhangers but the whole series is complete so can be read one after the other. Ivy Asher is a very talented writer and has done a fantastic job with the fantasy and whychoose genres.

The MC is as tough as nails with an emotional vulnerability that makes her completely relatable, If still a major WCW. The male members of the harem are supportive without being wet blanket and have that kind of devotion and strength of character we all seek in partners and ourselves. When there are misunderstandings, which are few and far between and not centered as much around the love interests they use (shockingly!💙) open communication to strengthen their relationships and work through it. No messy triangles just lots of love and support. It seems like I am hitting all the pluses and leaving out the negative in the plot. But I am a no spoiler kinda lady, I will say you may cry, if you don’t you’re stinger than me. I think you’ll love it if you in any way enjoy the genre. It has that quick paced easy reading style that I am sure writers slave to make which leave you forgetting you were reading and not living the adventure.

Welp I wasn't expecting my last 24 hours to put me through the emotional wringer. I am in LOVE with this series, I just found the first book yesterday and now I'm in the middle of what feels like an emotional tsunami that I'm attempting to recover from.
Vinna is an amazing young girl who has been beaten down, given every reason in the book to doubt and hate herself but she shows us that little bit of hope within. That hope of love, a place to belong, family everything we can all and have all longed for.
Her guys are amazing and all unique, interesting, broody but they all mesh well with Vinna from the word go.
I kinda want to dive back in this beautiful, heartbreaking, beautiful world. Thank you for putting this out here and letting us all root for and fall in love with V, the boys and their world

action packed drama that i could not put down. my only complaint is i have to wait for book 3. i also am happy there's another book coming. want more of this young romance that has the potential to be hot hot hot. i was hooked from the first chapter which is fairly surprising because i read ALOT! Ivy Asher will be added to my list of favorite authors.

This series has left me wishing the next book was already available. I can't wait for book three! The story line is action packed and just hot! Kept me cheering for the main character and her mates. I even found myself crying as a I became engrossed in the story. I simply loved books one and two. I'll be watching for the next one. Nicely done.

Different types of story and more than I expected. I just downloaded the next two volumes! A very exciting new book, with an excellent cast of characters, and very good and colorful backgrounds. I enjoyed the story very much!
