So, I've checked off some life goals and added a few new ones to my list.

Goal #5: Get out of hell's belly without letting my ungrateful charges die.

Goal #6: Get a new name that's more badass.

Goal #7: Stop wasting my breath on lectures and start annoying the quad hell squad every time they annoy me. Fight fire with fire. Ha! Another hell pun.

Goal 8: Find out who the hell killed me.

I'll add more. I don't want to overwhelm myself before I even finish checking off my old goals. But seriously, I really do need a more badass name, considering how much I have to keep saving my damsels in distress.

I probably shouldn't call them damsels, since they're a little murderous and all.

Maybe I should add seeing a hell-certified psychologist to my list of goals.

So this was my first dive into a paranormal series and I absolutely LOVED it and couldn't put it down! I read the whole series back and back and was telling everyone I work with about it. It was so detailed and intricate and the story/character development was phenomenal!

It was unpredictable and an edge of your seat page turner! I loved all the wittiness mixed in with the gut wrenching scary times. I laughed, gasped and had heart palpitations. I'm so sad it's over but I see there is more world building she is doing with another series so I look forward to more!

I want to give this series less stars but there were parts I liked. However, there were parts in the first book that I liked including her needing more attention, needing them to be nicer to her, and generally being nice. But by the 4th book I was simply irritated and honestly angry that we as readers were STILL dealing with this at the end of the series. She still has to beg for attention? Still has to make them feel guilty that they aren't nice to her?

But then (BIG SPOILER COMING SO LOOK AWAY)....

SHE DIES! SHE DIES!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes I know she comes back, but she's not the same so for four books I'm invested in a storyline of 5 people and then it's done and then I get a double epilogue of a new group of 5? No. Thank you.

I wish I had never read these books. It's been almost a week and I'm still upset.

Honestly... I don't see what others are in this story. It's chaotic not because of the story but because of the poor writing and organization. I still don't know or understand the two triggers. The four guys are not hot Bully Alpha-holes or regular romance hero types, they just suck. They are all flat and one dimensional characters. Paca gets interesting in book 3 but that drops off drastically in the last book.

Interestingly, this authors other series "all the Little Monsters" is one of my favorite RH! The story is wonderfully written, characters rich, and Anna is a million times more fun as a psycho ghost that the ghost girl of this story.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I feel so let down by this story.

I am so glad that I found this series after all of the books had been released. I. Could. Not. Put. Them. Down! I was hooked from the first page and was so entranced in the story that I drove right into the next book until then bittersweet end. Bittersweet because it was over. I loved all of the characters, the story never got old or stale and it moved at the perfect pace. I laughed, got angry, sat at the edge of my seat, sizzled... (a lot) and missed more than a few hours of sleep to read all four books in one weekend. I’ve a new favorite author!

I loved this series! I laughed so much. I cried a couple times. I love the characters and their development. The story arc was so good. This story had it all: plot, growth, love, sex, humor, action... everything I love in a great series. Add in that it is a fiercely hot reverse harem and I now have a new favorite series to add to my collection.

This is one of the very few series I have read more than once, and will likely read again. There are so many laugh out loud moments, and those that make you shake your head from the ridiculousness of Paca’s antics. Definitely a series to read when you need a sexy pick me up.
