Saw many reviews complaining of the noise because of the flat bar. Sure it makes a "little" noise because obviously it is a flat bar and the cardboard is going to scrape. Probably wouldn't even have noticed the noise if I wasn't expecting it. There's other models with the round bar but I went with this one because it's about half the price. Installed easy enough. Nice look and great to have the little shelf. I am very pleased with this purchase and have no concerns at all
