I inherited a well-worn antique small marble-top washstand from my dad. It has a glossy dark brown wood finish, but lots of worn marks around the base, where the finish had worn off, exposing the lighter colored wood underneath. I used the markers to color in the worn areas, lightly marking at first to test the color. It colored in the marks well, penetrating the wood for good coverage.
I gave the product four stars because I didn't quite understand how I'd use the wax sticks on the deeper scratches. How would I get the wax into the scratch? The tips seemed too fat.
