I believe that this product could work well on other floors. However, we have plank wood flooring. Instead of using ice melt, we found a less abrasive sand mixture. To prevent the ground from pitting. After we had people over, we notice that they tracked a lot of it in on their shoes and it made its way under our bar stools. Which caused very deep scrapes in the wood.
I tried the wax crayons and the markers. It didn’t help. I don’t think it was the product itself that was poor, I believe it was the depth of the scrape. Had it been a lighter scrape, I think this would have worked well!
