If you want to try one of these the refurbished ones are the way to go. Was easy to set up and use. Major disappointment is that you can’t load some common apps (like Pinterest where I have saved thousands of pins) but for the money it’s great. The sound alone is really outstanding when listening to music or watching FireTV.
EDIT: The first day review was love at first sight, then the real device started showing itself. It freezes up and is unresponsive. I have to unplug it and reboot to get it working again. When I called "support" I could not understand and when I asked him to repeat it the third time he hung up on me. I worked with it for a few weeks and low and behold, the "return window" closed. Shem on me for not returning it immediately
I have Echo devises and smart plugs in every room of my house. Love them. This is the biggest disappointment yet.
