I have been searching for a good "clean" face moisturizer for quite a long time. I have struggled for years with dry skin and my face would sometimes get so dried out that it would be painful. Most of the moisturizers that I found would leave my face greasy or simply did not work. I tried a bunch of different ones, with nothing that I was really happy with.
In my search, I came across Brickell - and figured I would give it a shot, although I didn't get my hopes up. I ordered the 2oz bottle, because I didn't want to have a ton of it if it didn't work. The first time I tried it, I knew that it was off to a much better start. After a week of use, I knew that this was going to do what I needed it to. I really liked it!
First, it wasn't greasy - at all. It absorbed completely into my skin, without leaving behind any residue.
Second, it left my skin much smoother. I know it sounds dumb, but about a week or so after getting it, I asked my wife if my face felt different, and she said that it felt much smoother than before, so I am thinking that it is more than just "in my mind."
Third, it smells great - it's not overpowering, and the scent does not linger, but it smells fresh. I look forward to putting it on each morning.
Fourth - and most importantly, it doesn't have a bunch of chemicals that I cannot pronounce in it. Most of the ingredients are organic and there are several vitamins and compounds in there that help with overall skin health.
All in all, I would recommend this moisturizer and many other Brickell products to other men. I have now purchased their sunscreen, a few different hair products, and the Eminent cologne - which is awesome. The products might be a bit more expensive than your run of the mill men's care products, but they are worth every penny.
