I owned one of these hair towels for years but had to "retire" it after I unfortunately ruined it in the wash. I bought a hair towel replacement at a retail store, the type that's more of a head bandanna and is made of microfiber. It totally let me down - it didn't fit right and the thin microfiber seemed cheap and just didn't work as my previous Aquis towel did. After only a week I couldn't take it - I missed my previous towel too much and bought two more of the lisse crepe towels on amazon. These towels are truly da bomb - they're so much thicker, yet still light enough to wear on your head - and they're super absorbent. Not to mention that they're big enough without being too big. I really can't say enough about the quality and effectiveness of these towels. I will not "go back" again and these are worth every penny. They feel so luxurious and the quality is undeniable. I love the Aquis towels and there is no substitute.
