Per the title, I’m on the fence about this product.
First, the 16oz that it should be doesn’t fill the canister it comes in. Will have to weigh the product if I do reorder and see whether the amount is as advertised.
For odor control, this product does work initially, but I find I need to apply it twice daily. I haven’t had this first container long, and it’s going fast. I don’t see it lasting a much more than another week and a half or so for 2 litter boxes.
Considering the price and short term effectiveness, in my opinion, you need to order larger amounts for this stuff to be economical (consider that a competitor product I’ve used is under $6 online and locally, for ~20oz).
I’m slightly tempted to use one of the deodorizer bags from this company for the waste drawer of our automatic litter box (one auto, one traditional in our household) to see if it works any better than sprinkling granules in it all day.
The chlorine smell that many comment on does dissipate quickly. I don’t find it to be an issue, and our cats have no reaction to it.
