My expectation was the towel would have the traditional tuffs, so I was disappointed that it is flat and more like a dish clothe than a towel. Having read reviews with favorable results, I laid aside my expectations and gave it a chance. True it is not wide enough to do a traditional “hair plopping” and not easy to keep on, I worked at wrapping around my freshly shampooed hair by lowering my head as I do for regular plopping, wrapped the towel and gave it a twist and secured with a duckbill clip, then went to sleep on it. The towel stayed intact all night and my hair was 98% dry when I woke up about 10 hours later. This is a 50% better drying outcome than with my cotton tee. So I will have to become accustomed to the narrower towel. The thing is to wrap around your head and tuck in. I was surprised that it stayed intact all night as my cotton tee method had me readjusting multiple times throughout the night as it would become either loose or fall off. Not so with this “towel”. It did dry my hair faster.
