My WIFI router is at the north end of my house. I have a guest cabin that I wanted to extend WIFI to. I ran cable under the house from the router to the south end (about 50 feet) to mount the antenna. The cabin is approx 120 feet from the antenna location. My cabin now has WIFI! Strong signal. Email, web browsing and even streaming Netflix works great. Make sure you give the new access point a unique SSID. Originally I used the same one as the router which cause some conflicts. Once I changed it, no problems. I can't say how TP Link's tech support is since I did not need to contact them. Especially for the price I paid ($40) I highly recommend this product.
