I have two cat and three litter boxes. One of my cats doesn��t bury her urine. So the smell would then roam the area the litter boxes are. This helps to neutralize the odors in the air! It smells like chlorine at first, but dissipates pretty quickly. Any smell is bette than cat pee, that’s for sure. Just be cautious when opening the lid. I accidentally opened the large opening side of the cap and dumped a bunch into one box. I now tape that side down so I don’t do it again. I’ve repurchased and will continue to due so.
