Ok, this product is excellent at keeping hair from going down the drain and my last one survived for almost 2 years. It certainly works a heck of a lot better than the metal version I purchased made by a different company. Plus the plastic allows for a better seal than metal.
Now for the cons, I really don’t like to buy too many items made from plastic and the edges eventually get ragged so it does have to be replaced - although it took me almost two years so that’s not bad for a two person household. I also have found that long hair can really fill the mushroom up so you end up stopping the drain. So every time I rinse my hair I have to empty the mushroom or my tub gets full of water. I just think of it as my stretching routine in the morning. Overall it’s a good product and worth the price.
