I have EXCELLENT credit (over 800), never late, no issues on timely payments whatsoever. This year, I tried to make a payment using an account where the routing # was wrong. I was notified the payment couldn't be processed, so I made the payment using a different source. I thought the routing # issue was fixed, so I tried to use that bank source again...but it was still wrong, so, again, I paid using a different source.

TODAY...I get into my account and it says, "This account has been closed. No further purchases will be allowed. Continue to make payments until your balance is paid in full." WHAT THE HECK???? Rep says that any payment not processed FOR ANY REASON is viewed as an "insufficient funds" issue. Again, WHAT THE HECK??? I am advised they cannot reopen my account, and I will have to reapply. Now I have to get into the credit bureaus to make sure I don't have wrong ("nonpayment/insuff funds") info showing on my credit. I HAVE NEVER had this happen before and I am BEYOND frustrated and angry right now...this is SO wrong on SO many different levels. I have LOVED my Amazon card...UNTIL NOW!!!!!! Make sure your banking info is COMPLETELY CORRECT before trying to make a payment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
