I've used a couple of these in chrome over the years, and with our new bathroom renovation, I knew I would still need to use one and am so pleased to have found one in Matte Black. I prefer installing it with the hooks facing the wall, so that you don't pull the roll off the hook. And that way you can pull down and rip the paper easily so it doesn't keep rolling forever. Being able to store a second roll is great. I knew I didn't want some gaudy stack of rolls out in the open, and a standard wall holder would leave you needing to dig out another roll mid-use. If you don't have a good place to install your wall roller, this is absolutely the answer for you! We even tried a standing holder, but they would always want to topple over. No thanks! This thing isn't going anywhere and does the job perfectly.
