I spilled a very rich, nearly full, cup of espresso style coffee on my new cream colored area rug. I was devastated and got to work blotting, googling 'how to get coffee out of wool rug', sweating, blotting, spraying, blotting more, losing hope... I went through a dozen white dish towels. I was only able to remove about 75% of the stain and knew I had to do something else. Amazon truly saved the day and the rug. I ordered at noon and had my bissell by 4:15pm. I went back to work using the stain removing solution for pets. I will say that I wish the suction was a bit stronger but despite that - I am shocked how well it worked. I am watching my rug dry now and I have to squint to see where the stain once was. It was seared into my brain after working on it for hours so I have a feeling I wont be able to detect it at all once dry and I've stepped away long enough to get the image out of my mind. I am very happy to have this tool in the ready for any future mishaps.
