I bought these to cover up scratches in my wooden dining table and they worked fantastically well... but I also found another use for them... repairing old shoes!

These shoes I have had gotten on worn out to the point where I kind of just stopped wearing them. Finally got them out because I thought they would be nice to wear for an event I was going to, looked at the worn out bottoms of the shoes... and then saw this set of markers on the counter. Took a bold move and went with a marker that was (what I thought to be) one shade lighter than the color on the base of the shoe aaaand... bam, it worked like a charm!

I mean if you look REALLY close at them you can see it's a little off but while they're on my feet, they basically look like new. I walked probably 3-4 miles in them on wet concrete throughout the event and they still look perfect so... works well apparently! :)

Was just a neat little trick that I thought I should share with others since it worked so well. Hope somebody else out there finds this little tidbit to be useful!
