I've seen many posts about the Hatch alarm and finally bit the bullet and bought one. I am very impressed by how simple the Hatch is, but extremely helpful in creating better sleep habits. I've used the Hatch for almost 3 weeks and I can say that my sleep has improved and I feel a lot better waking up in the morning.At night, I love using the wind down feature to relax in my bed without scrolling on my phone. Having the wind down feature is extremely helpful in being mindful of your night time routine so you're not stuck lying in bed on an endless scroll on your phone. The wind down feature makes me feel intentional as I am preparing for bed and find myself falling asleep quicker. I've never been one to use white noise to fall asleep, but I am knocking out within 10-15 minutes of just lying in my bed. I think using the wind down feature has really helped me create a better sleeping habit as I prepare for bed to get a full night's rest. I aim to get at least 8 hours of sleep each night, but sometimes I get caught scrolling through my phone so I appreciate the wind down feature to be more intentional about going to bed.I have been loving using the Hatch as an alarm clock rather than my phone. Although the phone is convenient to keep under your pillow, it can be quite loud and it's also very easy to just hit the snooze button over and over. I have been trying to be more intentional with having an early morning, especially now that it's summer and the days are warmer so I find that using the Hatch alarm has made it easier to wake up in the morning. My room is pretty bright in the morning as the sun hits it directly, but I still find that the light from the Hatch helps my body adjust before the alarm goes off. I've noticed that by the time I hear the Hatch alarm go off, I don't find myself waking up in a haze where I'm unsure what day or time it is. I like that there are plenty of options to choose as an alarm option. I personally love the "Harp Classics" sound and feel like I'm waking up in a spa. I feel with some people, they can get used to their alarm sound and end up ignoring it so I love the options to be able to switch it up.The app itself is very easy to use and play with. I love the customization for the lights/colors and enjoy all the options for sound features for wind down, sleeping, and waking up. I wish that if we were to click on the sounds in the app, it would preview it. Instead, I have to click on the sound, click preview, and then wait for it to play. I wish it was one less tap.Overall, I find that the Hatch is very simple to use and find that it has truly helped my sleeping habits and find waking up in the morning a lot easier. I love not having to rely on my phone for the time or as an alarm clock. Definitely will continue to recommend it to others who want to improve their sleep schedule and habits!
