I have been surprised by the price/performance of the Eufy 11s Max. I was never willing to pony up hundreds of dollars or (gasp!) $1,000+ for a robot vacuum. The $139 Eufy has made my entry into the world of robotic cleaning a good experience. In the past, I have relied on Rubbermaid's (Commercial) Microfibre 18" mop and Bona hardwood cleaner. I still do for spills and mopping my upstairs hardwoods and vinyl planks on the ground floor.
This modest Eufy 11s Max does a great job of picking up the cat hairs from 4 furry friends, tracked cat litter, dust and all the rest of the debris that magically accumulates on 3k sq. ft. of flooring. Its cleaning power improves and eases the way for any subsequent wet mop scenario.
- Excellent along baseboards and thresholds, hardwoods, vinyl planking, under sofas

- Automatically increases suction power on carpets (iQ)
- The remote control allows me to easily direct the 11s Max to different rooms I want to clean
- Very good at avoiding falling down stairs
- Renewable parts on this unit are easily available and reasonably priced
- Ricochets around like a drunk...but knows its way "home!"
- Source of endless fascination for the cats
-Not so good on Persian, Afghan or Caucasian carpets with fringe. (I fold them up or, in some cases, tuck the fringe under the carpet ends. I prefer to use a good vacuum with less brush action on fine carpets.) But the Eufy does a nice job on the underside of carpets, especially along the edges where dust, hair and debris seem to gather. Again, this is where the "manual" dimension of the remote control proves to be an actual advantage.
I'm learning to clean, then shift boxes and other obstacles out of the way to allow other areas to get a better cleaning in alternate "Auto" sessions.
My eyes and my bare feet tell me the Eufy 11s Max is doing a good cleaning job. The amount of cat hair in the disposal tray seconds that conclusion.
It may not be the smartest, most powerful or "very best" robo vacuum you can buy but its great performance and $139 price tag speak to me.
Unfortunately, it hasn't been able to explain why cats prefer hurling hairballs on my carpets instead of the hard flooring.

More like a butler than a robot
I've been holding out on getting a new robot vacuum until I found one I liked that could map rooms for specific cleaning.I'm soooo SOOO happy with this one.PROS:- It's quick mapping is so easy and accurate. It's better than robots that just meander until they bump into stuff. Its like this robot actually sees things and can tell what it can go around vs what it can go under but still an object. It gets as far into nooks and crannies as it can.- It is great at remembering where it has already been and where it may have missed because a kid or animal got in it's way and going back over the spot.- It gets so much out of the carpet.- It is so fast. I didn't realize before how slowly my previous robot vacuums were when they were mapping or moving between rooms. When this one is told to go to a room, it goes straight to it very quickly.- I'm happy with it's runtime. It takes me 2+ hours to vacuum the entire house. This bot can run for 90ish minutes since most of the floor is hardwood.APP PROS:The app has a lot of ways to customize the cleaning which I appreciate.My toddler spilled a bunch of salt in the kitchen and instead of having to have it clean the whole room I could make a virtual zone and have it go to work.I combined a room cleaning with a virtual boundary so it wouldn't bump into the door while my baby was sleeping.My favorite though is if it gets interrupted it will show a message on top of the map saying exactly what happened. (See pic)I forgot I left a virtual boundary so it couldn't clean their room. I just removed it and sent it back.I love that you can combine cleaning modes in the app.It's so easy to merge and separate rooms.APP CON:I can't find an easy way to get it to clean sunken rooms that it can't get to by itself. (See pic 2) It might be user error on my part.I *think* maybe if I put it in the room it might figure out the positioning based on home base distance or virtual mapping? But I haven't had the chance to try yet.So far ive just made it add a new map. It will return to it's starting position when done instead of home base.CONS:Really I don't have anything I'd call a con.It doesn't tell you if the dust bin is full but I just empty it after each run since it's base is next to the trash can.I wish there was an option to tell it to remap only a certain area. I had a room closed the first time it mapped and didn't see a way to edit so I did a new mapping. I think maybe if I told it to auto clean it would have found it but haven't tried. If that is the case there is nothing in the app to indicate it would work that way or what to do if a room needs to be remapped due to furniture movement etc.
