i do not know why i thought this would cover my whole balcony, but what it does cover , changed the whole appearance of my seating area. So mice and cozy now. No more plain cement flooring. Ads a whole new level of comfort . Just rolled it out , easily cut out where the railing post is and instant patio .

Difficult to Unwrap, Appearance Semi-Realistic, Overall Is OK Product

If I could, I'd probably rate this 3.5 stars. It arrives very tightly packaged in plastic wrap that was a nuisance to remove. It was difficult to find a way to cut it open without damaging the product. I probably spent about 20-30 minutes just carefully trying to slice it open.

The material is actually very thin, so once open it wants to retain the curled up shape. As well, it was so tightly packed that the grass blades are ironed out flatter than a pancake. You need to first spread this out and place some weights on it to get it to lay flat, probably for days to prevent it from curling up again. Either that or you will need to tack it down to the surface where you wish to use it. After that, you'll need to spend time brushing up the blades to get them to stand up and look more like grass.

The final result is decent enough. It's easy to tell that it's artificial but it does have an overall pleasant appearance to it. You don't really notice the color shift that much when standing on it but will notice it as you approach it looking at it from an angle. It's not as luxurious looking as portrayed in the photos - it's more like what you might find as artificial turf at the golf driving range.

It seems quite durable and it does appear that it should drain fairly well. There is a mild plastic/chemical odor to it, but I expect that should diminish with time as it outgasses.

I think most anyone would be satisfied with it but not necessarily excited. I think I'd be more content with giving this 4 stars if the price were about 30% less, which is roughly about $40 for a 4x7 area.

I ordered this artificial grass to cover a large patch of dirt where I feed some community cats. It seems to be of good quality and the appearance is nice overall. This grass can have many uses and for me it’s very helpful in keeping the plates of cat food from getting dirt inside. May be a bit pricey but it’s a good product overall.

Here are the Pros and Cons. It is thick enough to be comfortable. We use this mat for our outdoor yoga / work out session. It is also large and can easily support two adults. The mat isn't heavy so it makes storage and transport easily. We also love the appearance as well. The only thing we don't like is that the edge isn't reinforced. This mean that it is already fraying and falling apart on the edges. You have to use a sowing machine to reinforce the edge.

I got this for a Vine product review to use in the house I am making for my kitties that will go at the window so they can still get "outside" when I can't take them outside myself.
