I purchased a gift card for DisneyPlus for $25 and I go to the Disney Plus website, and it gives an error message. The site will NOT accept gift cards. This is a KNOWN problem on the Disney Plus Website. If you go to the Better Business Bureau of New York and type in Disney Plus, you can read through all their Disney Plus complaints and you will see numerous people who have Disney Plus gift cards that are worthless because the website has some type of software glitch and won't accept them. After calling Disney Plus Customer Service many times over two months, the customer service finally offered a refund in the amount of the gift card that they couldn't accept. Trust me when I say you may want to save yourself hours of calling customer service to try to resolve.

Do not buy this Disney+ gift card if you want to be able to use it at Disneyland or in a Disney store. I gave the gift cards to a daughter in law and grandson (totaling $175.00) for Christmas so they could use it at Disneyland when they will be there for Spring Break. Now it's good for nothing since they already have the Disney+ streaming service. The fact that it cannot be returned or used for Disney merchandise is doubly deceptive and the Disney name should be removed or at least have a disclaimer up front and not hidden in the fine print.

The fact that Disney and Amazon allow this type of deceptive practice just to make a sale is disappointing.

It wasn’t apparent to me that this was a Disney Plus card. I got it for my granddaughter for Christmas but she didn’t need this as they already subscribe to Disney Plus TV. And what I wanted to get for her was a Disney gift card, that she could spend. I was able to get refunded for this so I’m happy.

This Disney card is very misleading. I bought this for my daughter in law's birthday to take with her to Disneyworld. The description is NOT clear whatsoever that you cannot use this at the parks. You have to read through the fine print BS to see it's for streaming services only. Also, it says it can be used in conjunction with Hulu's bundle packages which include Disney but when trying to apply the card towards Disney on Hulu, it does not work. No refunds which is complete robbery!!

I bought this card so that I wouldn't have to worry about 13.99 being taken out of my card every month. However, it gave me an error when I tried to redeem it. I contacted Disney+ support, and they told me it was a common issue and to try again next week.
