    Works when it works, but often doesn’t. Got the flex stand and half the time when I open the app on my phone it says I need to reconnect the camera. So I have to go back into my baby’s room and turn it off and on again without waking her up. I also don’t get notifications half the time . At first I was happy they came right to my watch but that stopped even though everything is turned on. Something that is supposed to keep my baby safe should not be this inconsistent if it’s the most expensive camera out there.

    This is a great monitor. It’s one of the more expensive ones on the market but I appreciate the clear video quality, alerts, white noise, nightlight, and that it shows the room temperature. It also has split screen for multi cameras. I found the visual quality was better on the flex stand than wall mount for some reason.

    The quality of the video is top tier. I have great wifi so I have never had an issue with connection. I have used the breathing band plenty and it has given me a sense of calm. I wish there was an option to keep the video minimized on your screen (like a YouTube video) when you exit the app. This way you can use for phone for other purposes and still keep an eye out for baby

    First off, I’ve been an Amazon prime customer for years. I’ve NEVER had issues with returns, in fact I usually receive a refund immediately the same day I drop off a return. Let’s start with that.

    I have a 8 month old baby daughter. We’ve been through a few baby monitors and have had some bad luck with them. Overall, my cheapo Hubble with the forever dying battery is better than this overpriced gimmicky and failing product called Nanit. Do NOT believe the hype. This is just plain awful.

    I got it after reading so many good things about it…. First off, it wouldn’t connect to our VERY strong and secure WiFi AT ALL. Couldn’t turn it off either unless you unplug it. Which entails a connection disaster all over again. Dealt with this mess all last night, discussed with my husband and we decided we would return it and try something else.

    All the sudden, we would only get a return, POSSIBLY a full return (what?) after 30 DAYS OR MORE of Amazon receiving the return. Ok excuse me? Is this a new thing? As stated above, I have NEVER experienced this before in all my years as an Amazon customer. I literally do business with Amazon for this reason, the amazing return policy which seems to have gone by the wayside now.

    I spent most the morning with customer service chat, at least 4 different associates, trying to resolve this. One said no return…. Ok why? No explanation. One said I’d get a refund in 30 days. Another 7-14 days…. Then said I could keep it and get a partial refund…. Then said no I’d have to send it back and I could get a replacement unit. OH! And another, the first I chatted with, actually said I could KEEP IT and receive a FULL REFUND. Huh? Ok super confused. Basically I felt stuck with the damn thing. Why should I have to WAIT TO MAYBE GET A FULL REFUND ON SOMETHING I DID NOT EVEN HAVE A WHOLE DAY YET? Wtf Amazon????

    Two hours ago I decided I’d try to just figure it out again, connected it finally after messing with it for awhile. (Remember it’s not my WiFi, my WiFi is FAST and has a very strong connection.) Got it to work and set up to watch over my sweet, napping daughter while I went and did some housework.

    Instant regret. My poor baby. The monitor FAILED to pick up her crying for almost 15 minutes before I finally heard her. Everything was set to ON. Including Picture in Picture as well as background noise. And notifications. I snatched her up, calmed her down, and guess what….. the freakin POS overpriced junk I’m apparently STUCK WITH now FINALLY picked up her crying and showed her moving around her crib VERY DELAYED as that I was holding her in my lap by now!!!! WTF!!!!! WTF!!!!!

    Not cool at all. Awful product for a laughable amount of money. Amazon won’t help. Not sure what I’m supposed to do. I refuse to try and sell this thing to some poor sap thinking it’ll help them watch their baby. I’m not that mean. Amazon needs to do right thing and treat their loyal longtime customers appropriately like they USED TO DO.

    I am not a pleased customer whatsoever right now.

First, the insights package (which gives you ability to save video, see sleep facts, playback, etc.) is very pricey. And with that price I would expect more accurate sleep insights. If your child moves at all while asleep at night, it records them as awake time and really distorts their actual sleep time. not a deal breaker, but if the data is important to you, dont expect accuracy. second, this monitor works as an app on your phone or ipad…it DRAINS your battery quickly. you cant go to bed without your device charging or it will die overnight. it is super easy to travel with and the video quality is very good. would i buy it again, yes! hopefully the two things that bother me will improve over time.

    - Our house has a Wifi6 infrastructure network. The camera won't connect to that one. We have to use it on the guest network.
    - The other apartment we have, has a fast but older Wifi 4 installation. The camera won't connect to that one either. We had to replace the otherwise flawless network.
    - Getting a picture after starting the app takes maybe 20+ seconds on my wife's iPhone (which is slow) but it takes 2-5 minutes on my Android phone which makes the system pointless for a quick check.
    - Drains resources like a video game.
    - Save a screenshot or talk to the baby? Push the button and wait 20+ seconds for the app to react.
    - Enjoy the frequent error messages that the connection is interrupted.
    - Want to access saved shots or reconfigure the thing? Be prepared to be spammed with offers or super expensive esoteric services that help you spy on the baby.
    - If you do not know exactly where you baby is in the image - you won't recognize them in the badly pixelated feed.

    Still, this product gets two stars for recalibrating myself when it comes to modern trinkets: i) read only the bad reviews, as this is how it will work for you. ii) Don't buy stuff that access the cloud or transfers data to somewhere else. iii) If you can get the same thing without network access, get it without network access.

    TLDR: This is a garbage product. Avoid.

    I bought this camera with high hopes and even subscribed to their rather expensive analytics service. Heck, I even bought the carrying case!

    Unfortunately, the temperature sensor only worked about 1 in 10 days and the sleep tracking stuff was totally wrong/useless. The flex stand would disconnect periodically unless I had it propped in a super specific way, which meant that it would just randomly not be working--not a great feature in a baby monitor (!?!).

    I cancelled my subscription after a month, but was still billed for the year... It still worked as a high quality (if now quiet overpriced) monitor except when the flex stand disconnected randomly, until I tried to bring it on vacation with us. After trying to connect to a new network at vacation rental, the unit just stopped connecting to anythjng. I tried resetting it and nothing happened. I tried calling and was on hold for 1.5 hours before I was played an automated message saying I should email them. I emailed them and I still haven't heard from them after 2 weeks. I am now looking at buying a new monitor. This is an absolute garbage product. Avoid.

    The product description says 1year of insights are included. Turns out they're not...and even if they were, the app don't provide insights if you use the Flexi stand (which is what is included in the box).

    Poor (misleading?) labelling...the product is NOT what the description says.
