I found it weird that I had to use the Eve app to install the Aqua, but once I did, it was super easy to use; this one will now keep our bird bath full all summer long by creating a water fountain for a few minutes each afternoon (or on demand)!I do wish there were a power source option other than AA batteries.Update: this device has been a joy to use all summer long—on the same set of AA batteries. We’re getting ready to winterize, but I look forward to setting our water fountain up in the spring again, and we’ll be using this same gizmo next year too!

This new Eve Aqua is perfect! The water pressure to the front of my Dad’s house is incredibly high, so the older version of the Aqua kept falling off (due to the plastic threads that attached to the spigot not being strong enough). This new Eve Aqua is very sturdy and now has metal threads that keep it locked tight on the spigot with no problems. We’ve tested it out for over a week now and it’s still on there tight. Besides this new Aqua looking a tad snazzier than the last version, it’s also much more responsive due to the built in Thread technology. The button on the front works immediately, and using the app/Siri has also no delay as well. We are looking forward to hooking up my Dad’s sprinkler system and setting up a watering schedule so he doesn’t have to crawl under the deck every time he needs to turn on the water. At 60 it’s getting a little more difficult for him to keep crawling under there, so this is incredibly convenient for him! (PS: we’re using the old Aqua on the back of the house with lower pressure and it’s working perfectly back there with no issues!)
