It literally only has one button and that is the power button.
It cleans the pool really well!!
Don't like: "if" i had to complain...it would just be that it takes about 3 hours to charge and it runs around an hour (give or take a few minutes) BUT...in that hour of working it has my 18 ft round pool super clean!!
I really like this product for the pricing...as some similar to this one was double the price.
I started with the Osprey 200 and let it do its thing. Nothing crazy with guiding it like I had in the past, just let it run its course. When it was done I pulled it out and then I dropped the Osprey 300 into the pool. You could see an immediate difference in what was being pulled up. It wanted to stay in one 10-foot section of my pool, but it has a way to adjust the movement jets so that it can curve. I did have to force it to move on and after it did, I didn't have issues, minus not wanting to do curved areas. When it was done, I didn't see any sand in the bottom of the pool. I did allow the pool to sit for the day to see if any sand was kicked up and just needed to settle. There was, but very little. I adjusted the movement vents this morning and while I need some more adjustments, it's covering a lot more of the pool today, along with the curved area. I will probably allow it to charge up and run it again this evening, just to make sure the last of the sand is out of the pool so the injured kid can do exercises. Water did drain out, but not the brown the 200 put out. I didn't see a cloud of dust around the 300 either. When I did get it out of the water, there was some sand around the tires, but it was definitely stuck in the cubbies right there. Nothing I would be greatly worried about, especially if it is collecting more than it is losing and I do not need to run it is as often.
The 200 is small and very lightweight. A little old lady could possibly handle it. My kids would pull it out and I would be on the phone and pull it out with one hand. The 300 was not a one-handed lift for me. I know the injured kid couldn't do it and my 10-year-old probably couldn't. I could get it to the surface, but I could not pull it the rest of the way out of the water without both hands. 200 would probably be good for a small low-maintenance pool if you know you could not lift something heavy. I still would say, spend the money and go for stronger version as you can. Or opt for one of the hand-held ones that actually look like a vacuum for those who cannot lift. If Wybot had one of those, I'd definitely consider getting it for those small, stubborn areas.
Original review: Not very impressed with this at all. It pulls up stuff yes, but it leaves a lot behind. I have been questioning if it really is doing a good job or an okay-ish job since the end of June. It's okay-ish. My son was doing some therapy in the pool when a dust storm hit. He's on crutches so he couldn't get the cover on by himself and by the time I got out to help him we had sand in the pool (I make dinner and watch. He's perfectly safe). I didn't think much of it because we have the vacuum. Five days later, running it 3 times a day, while babysitting it the entire time, I am watching it blow sand up and leave a bunch behind. It is picking some up because I see it when I rinse it out, but there is still so much left behind. I have shut the filter off an hour before and swept the sand to the same area and force it to collect, but I still watch a cloud of dust go up and sand left behind. I even have to rinse brown dust off the top when I rinse the filter. It picked up a receipt no problem, but often can't get leaves. It misses full areas no matter how I have the wheel settings.
It runs for 30-40 minutes, which is why I can babysit it and then it dies and won't move at all. This probably doesn't help.
Overall, I would not recommend this vacuum. I was hoping it would last until next season, but I will be finding something else. I live in the desert. Dust storms will happen no matter what. I have sand dunes maybe 2 miles from my house. Definitely need something that can handle it. Couldn't imagine having younger kids that a grubby getting in the pool as well. I don't see it working.
Still gave it two stars because it does work. It just doesn't work great.
