We love Hot Tools, normally. But we were disappointed by this. Me and my three daughters are not big fans.
Pros:
-It gets hotter than any other I found and holds the curls wonderfully. If everything goes well, hair looks awesome!
Cons:
-It leaves a line at the top of your head. If you get it just perfect, you MAY not get that line but it is next to impossible. The line doesn’t super bother me and I try for the top layer to not have it and it kind of works.
-It is harder to blend to the next curl as you move down your hair than I expected. Other similar crimpers we have blend better. You have to get the hair at the right arch of the curler or your curls will be uneven in the waves.
All in all we will keep it. The temperature of this outweighs returning it and getting something that doesn’t hold overnight. Just wish they’d fix the design.
