This vacuum could be amazing but a couple kinks need to be worked out. I’ve been waiting for this bot ever since I saw it at CES. We’ve had several iRobot Roomba models and a Deebot as well. This robot is much better designed than anything that iRobot makes. Our Vacuums go out every day. One upstairs and one downstairs. The Roomba slams into everything that isn’t a wall. It damages furniture legs and marks up everything. The Sweeva is gentle and doesn’t slam into everything thanks to it’s built in lidar and does an amazing job mapping the room. That being said, we’ve had some issues with it. It seems to be randomly dropping its connection to wifi. Although that seems like a minor detail, it’s a huge issue because when you try to reconnect it, the learned map is lost. That means you have to send it out for about two full cleanings before it relearns the area and let’s you rename all the rooms. Big pain for something that should be hands off. I’m hoping that I can get this resolved with TCL and make this the best robot vacuum out there but so far they haven’t responded to my “in app” complaints. Time will tell…

No more issues with the wifi so I’m hoping this is resolved.
Update 12/15/22:
Do not buy this vacuum. The original Sweeva I received was great aside from the initial wifi hiccup until the rubber flap on the bottom brush guard wore down and started to rub on the hardwood floors. It made an awfully loud rubbing sound. TCL was very helpful in troubleshooting and determined it was best to replace the whole vacuum. They shipped a new one to me very quickly. The problem is, right out of the box, new one will not vacuum a low profile rug without getting stuck. It seriously cannot complete a cycle without getting stuck numerous times. It constantly thinks the main roller brushes are obstructed even though they are not. TCL was helpful and sent another new vacuum. This third vacuum does the exact same thing. It works great on hard surface floors but I cannot believe it would work at all on a high pile carpet or rugs. It is essentially unusable for us because we have to create a “no go” zone for every rug in the house. It totally defeats the purpose of having a robot vacuum.
