I bought this laser for a recent project. I was skeptical because I had an old school, Craftsman laser level that more work to setup than the job I was trying to accomplish.I looked at a similar product from Milwaukee since I am invested in their battery platform. But I didn’t not want to spend the $600 for their level. So I found this one and decided to try based on positive reviews. It has been nothing short of spectacular. It is so simple to setup due to the self-leveling feature. It has bailed me out of so many situations I never even thought of, such as framing for windows as pictured.This is a super handy tool and extremely accurate. I still check it to make sure and it has been spot on every time. The magnet on the base is really strong and I’ve attached it many things like metal ductwork and ladders.The battery life has been excellent, seeming to last all day without need to recharge. The case is durable and provides plenty of space for storing all the included accessories. I bought this laser for a recent project. I was skeptical because I had an old school, Craftsman laser level that more work to setup than the job I was trying to accomplish.

I looked at a similar product from Milwaukee since I am invested in their battery platform. But I didn’t not want to spend the $600 for their level. So I found this one and decided to try based on positive reviews. It has been nothing short of spectacular. It is so simple to setup due to the self-leveling feature. It has bailed me out of so many situations I never even thought of, such as framing for windows as pictured.

This is a super handy tool and extremely accurate. I still check it to make sure and it has been spot on every time. The magnet on the base is really strong and I’ve attached it many things like metal ductwork and ladders.

The battery life has been excellent, seeming to last all day without need to recharge. The case is durable and provides plenty of space for storing all the included accessories. Something that the Milwaukee laser doesn’t even offer and no batteries!

So far, I've used this level to lay brick on a pathway and to set stones in a retaining wall. As long as I don't have direct sun on the measuring pole (a yellow yard stick), working outside in shade, the line is bright enough to see at about 25'-30'. Fortunately, I don't need to work over larger distances. Having the beam ~1" above the base also makes laying bricks very easy. And the scissor stand has come in quite handy. Compact case holds the equipment, extra battery, charger and the detector clamp and battery - very handy. Using the detector, you have to remember to switch the laser level to pulse mode. The detector instructions are not explicit about that, but the laser level instruction are. I haven't used the detector yet, just verified that it works.

This is exactly what I needed to professionally finish my kitchen and to start my deck project. Auto leveling is great. Mine arrived fast and works great. the only thing that drives me crazy is that all my side advertising is full of Huepar levelers because I also went directly to their web site to see if I could beat the Amazon price. But Amazon won and now I have to deal with all the extra ads... But the product is Great.

Works great if you only use it indoors with the lights off. Otherwise the laser is very low power and hard to see. Not to mention the target provided is also, wait for it, green. If you need one for a few small jobs and don’t want to rent it go for it. Otherwise seek a higher quality option.

Wow, to say, I’m disappointed is an understatement, based on the reviews. This thing should be able to burn my eyeballs out instead, I can barely project a beam on the floor more than a couple of feet before it’s too dim to see.

Only good points is it comes in a nice box has two nice rechargeable batteries and seems to be ok built but it’s useless otherwise.

My old red laser dewalt Dw087 puts this to shame.

Purchased for framing my basement. Haven't started the framing yet but so far I have used this to level all my picture frames. Install 13 blinds in the house install 2 baby gates. And install 2 tv mounts. All I can say is everything in my house is level, straight, and just perfect. Plus it has saved me hours of measuring and marking. Measure once and eyeball the rest off the line. Can't wait to start framing with this bad boy.
