This is easy to use and hardy. I cleaned out the grass, weeds and stickers in my rocks. Some of the grasses ran deep and I twisted the tool (as many times as necessary) to get the base of the root systems and lifted it right up. I bought this because all of my other items bent and broke. I recently ordered Grandpa’s stand up weeder for my lawn. After falling in love with that, I got this piece. Extremely happy with the quality and utility of both items.

The fulcrum will bend on you. I bent it back out to round and created a reinforcing filler out of a 3/4 metal conduit pipe cut to about 2.25 inches and notched a couple grooves so the straight rod rest in it while it stands on end. The tool works well again.

Well if you’ve spent years fighting, digging, yanking, breaking nails pulling weeds? Get this tool. The flood of relief washes over you as you amazingly pull crabweed completely out of your grass, roots and all! We have clay soil that rarely gets soaking rain in the summer, making it like actual concrete. Cue this little tool. It might take more to get it in the grass but it’s going to work!
After my first time, I walked around and pulled every patch of this crap out of my backyard, without huge holes or a shovel. Just this tiny, ingenious tool.
