This is the best dog leash ever owned.My 1 year old 40lbs boy is running with me and makes sudden moves every time I walk or run with him. But with the belt, I can keep myself balanced. The fanny pack is a little small for my phone but holds poop bags and treats. I hope it stretches like SPIbelt so I can put my phone in. I like to use the double d-rings because it makes connection secure to me.The two handles are more convenient than a single handle leash. There’s a handle halfway down that’s good for regaining control & one near the bottom that’s perfect for short leashing.I like the leash stretches a little for reduced handling shock.[Update] My pixel8 fits in the fanny pack. However I still want it stretches and wish it has a separate compartment so I can take out my phone without worry about other items fall out in the pack.

I have a 75lb pittie who loves to pull and jolt when he sees another dog or at a squirrel and I’d always have tension on my arm trying to pull back the leash. Even having a harness alone doesn’t help the pulling.

But this leash…. Game changer. He still pulls however it redirects him back once he realizes he can’t move forward. The waist band is sturdy and the pouch is a bonus to hold poop bags/treats! I wish the waist band had more padding tho, that’s the one improvement I’d make. I like that this leash is hands free and has extra handles to grab my dog closer for emergency situations. Very good product!! I can’t wait to use this to run with my boy :)

I take my dog running, on hikes, on walks, and in the car frequently. He is pretty strong and he's a puller, and this leash prevents me from getting knocked over (to my surprise).

Having the handles is so nice to be able to pull him closer if there's other people walking by us. It also can clip to be shorter. The pouch is perfect for keeping poop bags and treats.

The quality feels nice and durable! It really makes life more convenient for a dog owner with an active lifestyle.

I really like this leash, it makes running way easier. The downside is with the bungee it’s kinda hard to yank on the leash to tell her not to pull or chase after something, so she doesn’t take me as seriously as with a normal leash. But at the same time it doesn’t yank me as bad when she suddenly stops to go potty. I also like having the fanny pack for a little water cup and poop bags. I’ve run many many miles with it now and haven’t had any chaffing issues. I’ve also hooked 2 dogs on it before. Love having the hands free for running and the handle is nice to grab and pull the leash. I wish there was a way to shorten it without a bunch of extra leash dangling around my legs, cause it’s too long to run with the full leash out, she would trip.

I have a service dog and he’s really friendly. I ordered this leash 7 years ago when Magic was a puppy and it still works plus the bungee aspect is great for training. Fast forward to 2024 and I just bought another one for Magic’s travel bag because I love this leash for safety.

I have a 110lb German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix Service Dog. So if you have a large dog or bought a large dog breed who will be strong and big as an adult this is a great asset for training, as a puppy this is how I used the leash I have this around my waist attached to Magic; in addition, I also use a hand leash. I’ll tell you the 4 reasons I love this.

1. He’s always connected to my body. Safety is key and I never drop the leash when picking up his business so it’s nice to have both hands available

2. He knows once the leash is extended the bungee springs him back so he walks side by side. Whether trying to chase a squirrel or other animals boom he springs back. Training wise if you know about this aspect well now he stays right by my side as a result. The 2 handles which you can choose how the leash is used adds an extra value of comfort, happiness and support.

3. Going for adventures/runs/hiking/off trail walking/camping etc. you literally can run/jog/walk hands free which is critical if you’re an active person or outdoors person that owns an active dog. No brainer buy this!

When you go on adventures and find a muddy hill or slippery area as a handler than you just climb up like they do and don’t have to worry about holding a leash while adventuring.

4. I think it’s a universal dog thing and they like squirrels, this leash allows you to see the situation and handle it without worry. I use both the hands free leash aka this review and a hand leash for double protection. Keep in mind that is a personal choice being a helicopter puppy handler and mom. So, if you have a puppy under 50lbs I would just use hands free. Since he’s larger no matter what he’s always connected to me. He was trained at 3 months old using this method and I bought a new one for his travel bag.

7 years and the original still has bungee pull and 2 hand handles for quick control so now Magic has a new one for his travel bag.

I highly recommend this kind of leash if you're active and have an active puppy, your training a puppy, you’re a busy person and need your hands free, you like keeping your puppy safe. I always say it’s not my kid I worry about its other dogs that concerns me as a handler and dog mom. This leash has so many uses.

Like any review take what’s important but 7 years and the leash still springs is impressive and it’s been in extreme weather and still works. To reiterate, I bought another one just for his traveling. The original stays home and is in perfect condition.

Hands down a cool leash no pun intended.

Another thing is the dual clasps so you can connect your puppy to a belt or your own waste or hand leash. If you’re a dog walker it has loops and dual handles which also makes this leash very appealing.

I hope this helps anyone considering this option.

Good leash!! Bungee area has good spring to it. I like the added handles that give me 2 options to have my puppy closer to me when needed. Hands free while walking is a nice option as well. Pouch for treats/bags/phone f it fits is also a good feature.

The clasp just broke but the bungee is still perfect. Came to buy a replacement but no longer available. bought another brand and the bungee broke within a week, so now I appreciate this one.
Original review: I've been using this for 4 months now and can say this is great for hands free walking, when I need to pick up poo or use my phone or whatever. The bungee is strong and stretchy and seems durable still after 4 months. The orange is a good colour to find in my boot or bag, and the reflective stripes are great.

The only thing that I would improve is pouch could be bigger and the compartments better separated. It holds some treats, poo bags, and hand sanitizer at the moment, but the treats often fall into the poo bag compartment. Other than that it can hold my keys but theres no room for my iphone 12, but I'll survive, and overall the leash and belt are good quality.
