Lovely globe, poor quality stake
I'm both pleased and disappointed with this globe light. The globe itself is very beautiful and is made of thick and heavy colored glass. It has a string of fairy lights inside that give off a soft glow at night.However, the stake is another story altogether. It comes in two pieces that connect with a threaded metal fastener. However, either the threaded part was too small or the inside of the other piece was stripped because there was no connection at all - the weight of the globe was all that was keeping the top part on. I ended up krazy gluing the two pieces together. I also believe that the stake's footing should have at least 3 prongs for the ground, rather than just two, as the globe is so heavy. It's a shame the manufacturer risks the globe falling and shattering with the defective stake.

 I’m giving us three stars because the stabilizing stake was poorly welded, and broke when I was putting it in the ground. My ground is soft, this is placed in my garden which I water daily, this should’ve had no issue going into the ground. I was able to get it in the ground with just the single steak, but it is not stable. I’m hoping my husband will be able to fix the wild so I don’t have to worry about this breaking.

Everything else about this light I love. Blown glass, solar powered, and looks good day & night. took a video so you can see what it looks like at night. It’s a very beautiful piece. I may have just got a defective one, but make sure you check the stake before putting it in the ground.

This really adds something to my backyard garden. I find it to be very attractive in daytime or night.

The colors and details in the glass are beautiful during the day and at night the globe is lit up by fairy lights inside. The solar panel works really well and is reliable. The stake was easy to secure into the ground.

The globe is very heavy which is nice in a way but it also does not seem to be very securely attached to the stake. It's fine as long as you are careful and once it is set up you will not need to move it so I'm not too worried about it.

This is a beautiful garden accent. Assembly was simple. Just attach the painted glass globe to the stake and turn the button on the back of the solar panel to on. The globe is heavy. Mine was painted in mostly a bright aqua. Pretty during the day. At night it looks otherworldly with the light forming interesting patterns. This is an accent. It does not provide enough light for walkways but is stunning and well made.

Yes, the hand made globe does add a lot of value to it but for over forty four dollars it needs more to account for that whopper of a price for a single globe glow ball. Three Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

This is beautiful! It's large and so pretty. It's thick glass and not plastic, and it works great. As I was setting it up someone commented on my garden and how pretty the globe was. The first night it only got a few hours of sunlight before it got dark and it still glowed beautifully. I love how it looks and everything about it. Just perfect!

Alpine is a quality brand and honestly I have a few other items from them and while they can be a bit pricey, they are well made with quality materials and they offer a great warranty!

Do not carry this by the glass globe, while you should support it while you move it, hold and lift by the metal rod.

I provided a picture from my front door to the globe in one of my planters near my front door - as you can see it lights up very well - nothing that is going to light your way but it looks lovely!
