Coming from a person who has owned plenty of Bang & Olufsen speakers, many costing 10x this price, I am absolutely blown away with the Beosound 2.
Based on the wattage specs, you wouldn’t think this could get very loud or that it would flatten the sound at higher volumes. That is not the case with the Beosound 2. It has crystal clear highs, vocals are as if the artist is in the room and an incredibly weighty low end. And boy can it get loud. It’s insane how big the sound is while still maintaining excellent clarity and depth.
And I haven’t even mentioned how beautiful it is. It’s a piece of art. No one would ever know it’s a speaker and that adds to the surprise when you crack it up for friends. The craftsmanship is meticulous and the volume knob at the top just adds to the magic.
Bang & Olufsen have truly delivered and excellent product. One that perfectly matches form and function.
