The app is kind ok
I think the app isn't as necessary when it has buttons on it, but I bet it would be cool to hook up other fans to the app at the same time then it's full potential is useful, but with one fan. It was a novelty to play with. I did have an instance a day after I got it. It beeped and froze, but the light was still on. It beeped again and started turning but I had to reset the direction of the blades.

I read reviews on this before purchasing and saw multiple reviews about the non replaceable fuse in the blue safety plug blowing, making the fan useless. I purchased it any ways in hopes that I would not have this problem. Upon receipt of the fan I found it to look decent and it fit my window great. I set up the Bluetooth and it worked great, until I used it the second night and the fuse blew and the unit would not work. I called Lasko and they sent me a new fan. There tech support was very helpful and I got a new fan within a few days. The new fan worked for a whole 10 minutes and the fuse blew. I was told by Lasko to cut the plug off and throw away the first fan so I cut open the plug and removed the fuse. I found it to be a 2.5A fuse. I ordered and inline fuse holder and fuses. I put a new plug on with a 2.5A inline fuse and the fan is working with no issues. I don’t think there is any issue with the fan. I believe it is a cheap fuse that is being used inside the blue plug. I did contact Lasko about the second fan failing and they are sending me another one free of charge and told me to cut the plug off the second one and throw it away. Since they are not asking many questions, or wanting the faulty fans back, tells me they most likely know that they have an issue with the blue plugs. I would not order this fan unless you plan on putting a new inline fuse with a new plug on the unit. I will see in a few days if my third one fails.
