Made purchase to deep fry a Turkey for the first time. My friendsgivings (1st Turkey) cooked for 4 minutes per pound at approximately 350. It came out a bit over done. My thanksgiving Turkey cooked at 3 mpp and came out great. The fryer was a great purchase and did the job. The only thing I can add is that the 29qt pot is a bit thin, to the point that it’s bottom dented in the shape of the burner grills. Also the 15 minute reset timer can be annoying but I understand that it’s to avoid accidental fires.

It’s pretty good for the price you pay. First things I noticed was the aluminum is pretty thin, so it needs extra TLC to keep up. The flame is consistent, even and nice, but it burns the coating off the stand so it smells pretty bad. I figure after a few uses the smell will go away. Overall 4/5 stars only because the flame burns the coating of the stand so it’s gonna rust quick

I order this on the 20th of November of 2020
For the holidays and only used it once until today 7/12/21. It was stored inside ever since the first time used. When i hooked it up today i notice the regulator wast working, not big deal! It turned out it needed Batteries, but unfortunately the plastic clip that secures the batteries is worst then one for a tv remote and it broke when trying to clip it back on, I was disappointed but oh well everyone was hungry so i went and grabbed some tape and got it working. YESSSS everyone was Happy we didnt have to change plans and order pizza!!! Unfortunately but luckily just before i lite the fire i notice there were some drops of oil hitting the heat shield on the bottom. the sad part is this pan (the smaller one, has never been used) i had only used the bigger one for a deep fry turkey, and again everything i didnt use for thanksgiving was stored inside under my stairs closet. Fortunately for us I burned a lot of facial hair many years ago and ever since im super super super extra careful when dealing with propane. I have order thousands of items online and when im dissatisfied with a purchased i just cut my losses and dont even bother leaving a review. But today i had a party of over 30 people 12 of them kids under 10. Im beyond disappointed with this product and i will not recommend anyone to buy this. Mines will be in the garbage tomorrow after i smash it with a sledge hammer so the scrappers around my house wont even think about taking it home and using it. Fyi we didnt have to order pizza as i ended up using a regular pot from our kitchen.
We just had to make sure we changed the tape on the regulator to hold the batteries every 20 minutes when the tape got hot. I can only imagine what can happen to someone that has not used anything like this before because even if this was an excellent product I’ve seen many people make many dangerous mistakes before.

I purchased this Kooker for American Thanksgiving, and waited a month for the Kooker to arrive in Melbourne, AU. I paid excessively in freight and found the pots dented and bent out of shape upon delivery. For the mistake, Amazon offered a free return, and for me to wait another 45 days for another Kooker. Obviously this doesn't work because Thanksgiving is around the corner. Product is GREAT but very disappointed in Amazon's shipping methods and business practices. We all know a freight refund would have made plenty of sense rather than flying a dented fryer around the world twice...
