I have thoroughly enjoyed Kennedy Fox's Bedtime Reads series and this is by far my favorite book of the series and Colton is my favorite man!!! I absolutely love the chemistry between Colton and Presley, as well as their banter. I truly didn't expect that I would really like Colton. I thought he would be more of a player and then when we hear his back story and how when he loves he goes all in. Well let's just say I was hooked. Colton always treated Presley like a prized possession and that she was the greatest woman he had ever known. I love how he didn't try to rush anything and just wanted to get to know her.

So not only do you get an amazing, funny, sweet, HOT story between Colton and Presley but then we get to go back to the Bishop Ranch - oh my!!! I love getting to hear from so many of the Bishops - especially John and Jackson! They are my favorite Bishops and I just love hearing from them, Mama Bishop and all. I love forward to more characters and books at the Bishop Ranch.

Well, this book was okay, not my best read from this author duo. I was debating whether to even read it after several reviews I read. There seemed to be complaints about a lot of OW drama. And that is the angst I could do without in my romances. Because I already had this book on my Kindle, I decided to read it and try not to let the negative reviews influence my enjoyment.

The chemistry between Colton and Presley felt real; they had fun together and the intimacy was scorching. So, the only reason for my lower than usual rating of this author's books was that I found the storyline a bit boring and repetitive. There was no obvious plot.

That said.......
Colton and Presley.......
Colton is a cowboy, working on the Bishop Ranch; specifically for the B&B. He is in charge of the horses, basically. Colton lives a quieter than is normal life, from his friends. He is a hard worker, and I found him to be a gentleman. I truly loved Colton's character. Presley is a guest at the B&B, in Texas to take photos of the beautiful, picturesque surroundings. And of a certain cowboy. The first couple of times they meet, doesn't show Colton in the best light but it is only a matter of time that his charm breaks through Presley's determination to keep away from him. The banter between them was fun to experience. The relationship took some time to develop but that was ok. I felt if they moved any faster, it wouldn't be realistic. As I mentioned, there was no obvious plot; just Presley and Colton spending time together.

An aspect of the writing I truly enjoyed was the way Kennedy Fox painted the picture of the Bishop ranch. I could easily imagine all the scenes.

Overall, I enjoyed the book and am glad I read it. As usual, I look forward to the next Kennedy Fox book.

This is my honest and unbiased review and I thank you for taking the time to read it. :)

I love the Kennedy Fox Bedtime Reads books and “Falling for the Cowboy” is one of my favorites. They write with passion, romance and humor which is the perfect combination for a story about two people, seemingly different, who have more in common than they thought. I love romantic and handsome cowboys and Colton certainly lives up to that description with his confident swagger, sexy cowboy hat and tight jeans. He had his work cut out for him with Presley because when they met, she was not impressed and wanted nothing to do with him. Presley is an independent free spirit who loves to travel, take pictures and read and promote romance novels.

Colton was interested in Presley from the moment he first saw her on the ranch and he liked everything about her. Besides being absolutely beautiful she was a hard worker, a talented photographer and very creative when it came to designing posts for her Bookstagram page. Presley taught Colton all about the the book world and he was a fast learner. I loved the scenes where they worked together on the ranch posing her books with everything from a cowboy hat, a cactus and even a saddle.

“Falling for the Cowboy” is about pursuing your dreams wherever it may take you. Presley realized that if you are happy with your life then that is all that matters, and if you find that special someone, tell them how you feel before it is too late. Colton needed to stop letting his past dictate his future and take a chance on having the love that he truly deserved. The setting of the book at the peaceful Bed and Breakfast on the sprawling ranch, was the perfect backdrop for this tale of happily ever after.

The h is a photographer and the H is a cowboy. His long time ex fiancée left a huge hole in his heart when she cheated on him and had a baby with OM. However, once he meets the h...it is insta love for him. He goes all out to win her heart knowing she will eventually leave to travel the world. His ex makes an appearance and winds up working at the ranch...but she didn't play much of a part in the story.

The book is an easy read. I loved the H. He is swoon worthy. The h is no slouch. She is uber feisty and will kick butt. The characters are very entertaining with their witty banter. I enjoyed the couple against the ranch backdrop very much. I look forward to reading about the next couple...the baker and the next cowboy...

Then the doubts and fears each feel seem to get in the way of their feelings. It is a wonderful story and I won't give away the plot. Only to say it is a must read. I really enjoyed the last book in this series and was eagerly anticipating the release of this new one. Something about cowboys lately ;) I honestly think that KF gets better with each book. Their writing seems stronger and I just find myself unable to put the books down. I must say, I will forever stand by Logan and Kayla (from the Checkmate Duet series) being my favorite KF couple ever, but Presley and Colton definitely stole my heart with this book. The book follows Presley, who is a photographer, but she also happens to do bookstagram and review books for publishers. That alone made me really love her because I identified with so much of what was described in the book. The struggle to take the perfect bookstagram post, but also the love for reading. She finds herself in the South on a mini vacation of sorts. We actually met Presley in the previous book as she's friends with Olivia (I really like how all the heroines from all three novels are linked together, but mostly that all the KF books take place in the same universe). She ends up staying at the Bishop B&B, and it was so awesome to see some familiar faces from the Bishop Brothers series. Right off the bat, she finds herself at a crossroads with someone who works on the ranch. Enter Colton. I really enjoyed how lighthearted he was, and how he definitely got Presley to lower her guard. He's a fun guy to read from, but also we learn that there's more than just his good looks and charm. I liked that his backstory was fully explored in the book, and how Presley was like a breath of fresh air for him. There were so many cute moments in the book, but I think my favorite is definitely when they went camping overnight. As with all KF books, it is incredibly steamy, but with a lot of heart. I liked that it tackled anxieties of falling too quickly and living in the moment. Upon finishing, you definitely will find yourself looking up vacations to visit the South. You don't have to read them in order of publication, but it does help and it's fun to see familiar faces from other stories. KF also have a story coming out on Read Me Romance called Roping the Cowboy, and it features Braxton, who works alongside Colton, so I'm definitely eager to hear/read that one so I can hopefully hear more about Presley and Colton ;) All in all, it's my favorite of the Bedtime series books. I really enjoy this series as a whole because you can definitely finish them in one sitting/one night in bed, and although they are shorter than their other books, they pack a punch and they are the perfect amount of sexy, fun, and heartwarming.Would highly recommend!~

Here's the thing : Kennedy Fox are a first-class romance authors. Their characters always have a chemistry outside and inside the bedroom (or anywhere else).

I enjoyed this book. Loved the characters. Sometimes it’s nice to read something without a lot of drama and angst. However, I only gave it a 4 because it was underwhelming. There was no conflict at all. The only issue was that Presley didn’t live in Texas. When Colton’s ex showed up, there was a few seconds of drama and that was it. Colton mentioned several times that he wasn’t allowed to fraternize with guests. They snuck around. But they never got caught and nothing was ever said about it after everyone found about their relationship. The night Colton snuck into Presley’s room, the author skipped over it. That could have been a good part.

I like this authors style, its not too heavy on the sex and plenty of romance. Presley is a photographer who meets the Texan cowboy when she stays at the ranch he works at. Hes tall, very sexy and he has the Texan charm in spades. He flirts with Presley and at first she thinks he is just playing her but she has to admit that he has been a total gentleman the whole time he has helped her with the photos she needs. There is a spark between them and even though she knows she is leaving there is something about him that makes her rethink her life.
