Zippered bottom is super convenient
We used SwaddleMe swaddlers with our first child and are using them again for our newborns. Every child is different, so I'm not going to make any blanket statements here about how great swaddling is. Swaddling may work for you, or it may not. As a sleep-deprived parent, I will try anything to make my life easier. For us, we find that swaddling makes them calmer. Even if they don't sleep, we appreciate the quiet.The swaddlers we had from our first child are 100% cotton and the material feels substantially thicker. These are 65% Polyester / 35% Cotton. Being that it's winter now, I'd like the material to be thicker for warmth. Also, durability may be a problem here, but it's too early to tell. I'll update this review as we use and wash them. The yellow swaddler in my photo is our 100% cotton one, for comparison.The zippered bottom is the reason to buy these, This design makes changing easier so you don't have to unswaddle first. The little hole on the back lets you check for soiled diapers. Instructions on swaddling are on the box, for first time parents. Or watch videos to get the technique down.If you're shopping for an expecting mother, this would make a thoughtful gift.

This is an absolutely great tool to have in your arsenal as a new parent. If you are not an expert at swaddling your baby then go ahead and order this right now.
This swaddling blanket takes all the guesswork out of it. It cannot be simpler to use you place your baby inside and took one side and secure the other with Velcro. Baby is comfortable and it takes all of one minute to get them in it.

These swaddlers saved my life in the middle of the night after feedings. Because I wasn’t happening to roll her from side to side to swaddle her in a regular blanket she was able to go back to sleep much faster.
My husband also prefer these because he never quite got the hang of swaddling a baby with a blanket.
I really can’t recommend these to you enough, they are lightweight and breathable yet help to keep your baby warm and in a natural position for their comfort. If your babies are like mine they also find a way to wiggle out of the blanket swaddle’s which can be dangerous but these keep them tight inside.
