Our patented Hybrid technology combines all the benefits of stainless and nonstick into a single pan. The laser-etched stainless steel hexagonal network of ridges forms peaks over nonstick valleys for increased searing capabilities.

Do the handles get hot or are they heat-resistant?

Our stay-cool handles are designed specifically to be heat-resistant. However, shorter handles that are closer to the heat will heat up more quickly. So please use caution. And always use oven mitts when removing cookware out of the oven.

Is HexClad Hybrid Cookware oven-safe?

Yes. Our cookware is oven-safe up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and our tempered glass lids are oven-safe up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

The best wok I've ever owned
I love stir fry but I was always disappointed with the results. I researched and from watching a certain show, I noticed HexClad. i was truly surprised to know that one of my favorite chefs not only sponsored but used. I decided to give it a try. The woks I have are electric and I totally hate them as they can't retain constant temp. My first use of this wok, I was in heaven. I'm having so much fun using this wok. It is heavy so it's hard to do the tricks with flipping but I'm managing and getting better and having more fun. This wok makes me feel like an actual chef and I'm constantly researching more recipes to make. My wife is pushing me to make more and more different dishes. I haven't found a reason to complain about this wok yet. Totally happy.

I've fallen in love with HexClad! This pan is so versatile - you can use it on gas, electric, or induction cooktops - and is so easy to clean by hand or in a dishwasher. Plus, you can use metal utensils with no fear of scratching. Easy care instructions are on HexClad's website, but their pans are virtually foolproof. This pan isn't cheap, but it's well made, has a good weight, and heats quickly and evenly. It's a good size for skillet meals. I didn't get a lid thinking I'd use a 12" flat lid from my old cookware set. However, the lip around the lid didn't let it sit properly on the pan so I ordered a HexClad lid for those times I needed one. Again, not cheap but I love it.

I love cast iron, but moving a large cast iron skillet full of food is getting to be too much for my wrists. I wanted something that cooked like cast iron, cleaned like nonstick and was no heavier then stainless steel. I was worried about the cost, but I caught the 14" wok on sale and I am so happy I did!

Pros:
1) cooks beautiful and evenly at every temperature.
2) extremely easy to clean, including when cooking at high temperatures with sugary sauce
3) durable: I have chopped ground meat roughly with a metal spatula with no damage. Gently used steel wool with no scratching. I haven't had any need to give it hard scrub, but it seems like it would handle it just fine.
4) Oven safe up to 500 degrees!

Limitations:
1) While the wok is dishwasher safe, realistically the 14" wok is too big for a dishwasher. But, it handwashes easily, so it doesn't matter.

I have only had the pan for a few weeks. I will update this review if the pan fails in less than 3 years.

I was hoping they come in a smaller size but this one was as small as it gets. After the initial seasoning of the wok. This wok works quite well. It heats up quite fast and evenly. Hottest setting you can use is a medium high heat but at medium heat it works pretty good already. Might have to leave it there a bit longer to get that sear but over all it cooks really well. The clean up is easy. I just wash it down and towel dry it. I don't leave it to air dry on the rack because of it's size.

I bought this wok to make stir-fries and other dishes for my family. I like that it has two layers of stainless steel and a nonstick surface. It is very durable and easy to clean. It also heats up evenly and quickly. It works with my induction cooktop and it is oven-safe. It has a stay-cool handle that is comfortable to hold.

I gave it 4 stars because it has some flaws. It is very heavy and large, and it takes up a lot of space in my kitchen. It also needs some seasoning before using, or else the food will stick. It is also very expensive, and I think there are cheaper options that can do the same job.

This wok did not disappoint. I am a stay at home Asian mom who cooks on a daily basis and I have gone through several woks which did not seem to last. I like the size, durability and versatility of this wok. I have used it to stir fry, deep fry and steam. I know it is dishwasher safe but I usually handwash the wok since it's bulkiness takes up too much space in my dishwasher. The dome shape lid and its ability to see through is an added bonus! I am so pleased with my purchase.

It's a very pretty wok and I fully expected from various reviews, Youtube videos and such that it was going to look terrible after the first time (or first few times) using it. And it looks great. The bottom interior centre of the wok has a darker spot. It's not as pretty as the upper part with the shiny steel hexagons or the bottom outside of the wok, but I imagine there's a good reason for it. I think some people in the reviews thought that this was a stain, but it's in a hexagon shape.

It's solid feeling but to be honest, it might be a bit "too solid feeling" as it's pretty heavy for me to toss a lot. That's particular to my arm strength though and I don't toss my regular giant wok around that much anyway. But that wok needs to be dried each time afterwards to prevent rust. Which means I have to clean it right away and then put it on the heat for a couple of minutes which was an incentive to get a wok like this and at a smaller, more manageable size which is what I would need most of the time. This wok will hopefully be my all-purpose pot of this size and I had been debating between this and an 8" pan which is something I needed too, but because the top of the wok is wide, I think I should be able to do anything I would with a small non-stick pan in this one, and have the versitility of the tall sides too. It's too bad it doesn't come with a 10" lid but I already have a universal lid and just treated myself to a silicone lid too to make it less tempting to spend the money on a full-price Hexclad lid, though they do look nice. I got the wok on sale for 150 and I think the lid would have been around 86 and right now it's 78 so it doesn't seem worth it.

I haven't tried eggs yet or really sticky noodles. It does heat up fast and has a handle that stays cool so those are two features that make it easier than cast iron. It's a bit bigger than I expected considering the bottom contact just barely covers my smaller electric burner. Just wanted to share my first experiences as there were some reviews that made me worried about even the beginning experience. Very sturdy boxes protected it in shipping. It came in it's drawstring bag, which was thinner and flimsier than I expected from videos and the handle punched a tiny hole into the top but I don't really care. I don't think I'll be travelling around with it but if I was constantly stacking other steel pan in it, I might use it. I'll update how things go after a while.

Best pot & pans I’ve ever bought I’m buying the whole range. It is money well spent, they cook everything evenly and in half the time. Definitely scratch resistant but you have to make sure you season them first. They are also quite heavy but not too heavy you can cook anything in them. Very happy with my purchase, my kitchen is Hexclad!!!
