My daughter befriended a homeless man last year and she has been actively stopping to talk, pray and gift him with small things that he needs. Since this is so near and dear to her heart, my husband and I wanted to be supportive and together we have started putting together routine care packages for him and some of his friends. Is has been quite rainy here in Maryland so I thought these ponchos would be a good addition to the next care packages we put together for them. We are blessed to be a blessing and I pray that this small act will be what they need when they need it.

3 month update:
Don’t know how thick, it is thin but it doesn’t tear easily.. I used one for the first time this week, I threw it under the drivers seat for just such an occasion. Got caught in a deluge in SW Fla, checked the radar on my phone and decided to go for it. Opened the package and put it on in the car- not easy as it’s thin and large. Mine is orange on one side and silver on the other, once I got out I was able to pick up my small dog to carry her into the store, kept us dry. Not easy to fold back up but I did when I got back home and put it into a small ziplock bag. Glad I purchased it.
