Purchased a refurbished InstaPot in May of 2020. Ruined several pots of rice before I realized that there was a problem with the machine. Had actually forgotten about Protection Plan, but was cleaning out email and ran across a "Thanks for purchasing" email. Oddly, there was no reference to what it was attached to. Pulled up Amazon orders and there was no mention of it with the InstaPot purchase, so wasn't sure. Called the customer service line, got a rep on the phone in under a minute, was told that yes the insurance was attached to the InstaPot, filed a claim, the full purchase price will be refunded to an Amazon gift card - the whole process took less than 4 minutes! Amazing. Painless. I do have to return the pot, but they will send a UPS label. She also told me that failed timers are an issue with these appliances. I've never purchased such insurance before, but am now a convert!

A little over 3 years ago I bought a $100 coffee maker that came with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty. With the purchase, I also bought a 4-yr Asurion policy. I got the Asurion insurance because it insured the carafe against breakage. A new carafe sells for $50+. The coffee maker worked great. Until it didn't. Just a couple of days after the mfg warranty ran out, the coffee maker quit perking. I went to the Asurion site, initiated a claim. They immediately sent me a prepaid shipping label. I mailed the coffee maker to Asurion on their dime and, a couple days later, received an email that let me know the claim was approved and the money (equal to what I paid for the coffee maker) was in my Amazon account. The process was simple and fast without any BS.

I was sent a prepaid shipping label a few hours after I reported my coffee maker was leaking. My refund of an Amazon gift card in original amount of my purchase was issued a short time after I dropped the return at UPS. I just ordered a new brewer ( not the same brand) and made sure I purchased another four year policy.

Not sure if this was a good idea to get a warranty for my juicer but I did. I figure in the event something goes wrong and the year warranty is no longer an option I have this one. I haven't gotten the juicer yet so I will update if I ever need to use the warranty.

worked well for a few months but then part of the plastic internal to the machine came partially apart and some smoke resulted. first assurian claim - they're on top of their process.

I bought a blender with this 4 years insurance, the blender is broken after a year and they gave me the whole refund!
