I bought it to replace the Liftmaster MyQ Home Bridge connected to my garage opener and MyQ Smart Garage Hub connected to my sliding gate with a Liftmaster motor (both are Liftmaster Security Plus devices). Both were terrible, made an extremely loud beeping sound for 1 minute before opening or closing, delaying each command. Most annoying, the MyQ constantly showed a non responsive error - most of the time for the closing command ending up with an open door, when using it from away. It also required frequently new pairing, which was annoying. I bought the ismartgate PRO Garage Door Opener and use it with hardwired sensors for the gate and garage door. I bought the ismartgate sensors, but it even works with my previous installed sensor (normally open) I used with the MyQ. Installation was most simple, connecting to the hardwired switch inside the garage and required only to run the cable for the sensor, where I could have also used the included wireless sensor, but chose the hardwired one for reliability. My only wish would be for a cover for the wire connection block and clamps to secure each wire in place as well as a second screw hole for more stable connecting the ismartgate hub to the wall. The app lets you deselect the opening/closing delay and sound, which is great, when coming home late. Adding the hub to HomeKit was straight forward and simple (no comparison to the lengthy procedure of the MyQ) and the response is instant. Some reviewers comment of a HomeKit delay, which does not happen in my case, neither for the door nor for the gate. It appears to be very reliable so far and I did not have any connectivity error since I installed it 1.5 months ago - fingers crossed. I regret choosing the MyQ in the first place and suffering for the past 1.5 years with the unreliable connection and should have chosen the ismartgate right away, but who could know that a third party device will be so much more reliable than the original manufacturer. I can only highly recommend the ismartgate Pro.

I installed this myself and have been using this for over 30 days. I had one old Craftsman and two old Liftmaster garage door openers. The handheld remotes were lost in the sands of time so all I had were the doorbell buttons inside the garage. My garage is detached and it was a pain to go out and open/close or verify the garage doors in bad weather. The ISmartgate Pro addressed this need as it supports three garage doors out of the box. I attached it in the rafters in the center of the garage, plugged the power to the same power that one of the door openers were plugged into and connected each pair of wires from the Ismartgate controller to the same connections that the doorbell wires were connected to on the existing garage door openers. Note: the supplied wires with the Ismartgate for this connection are probably going to be too short to be of any value. I purchased inexpensive doorbell wire from Home Depot to give me the flexibility I needed.

I powered it up and configured it as directed. Configuration was problem free. I attached the sensors to the door as directed with no issues except I used screws instead of the sticky tape. When I installed it in the garage, I noticed that my home wifi extending into the garage was not that good. I should have check this before purchasing but . . . I was going to purchase another AIMeshed router but relocated one of the my existing AIMeshed routers about 5 feet and poof, 5 bars of signal.

If you have reliable wireless network, the Ismartgate works flawlessly. Another words, the Ismartgate is as reliable as your wireless network as it depends on this network. My doorbell buttons work as always before, but now I can use my phone to open and close and check the status from anywhere in the world, I can tell Alexa to open/close through IFTTT, or use Siri to open/close and tell me the status of the door. I can also tell Siri while in the car approaching the neighborhood to open/close the door. I tend to use Siri in the car and Alexa when I am home. I do not use Google Home so I will not comment on it.

Support was responsive and patience and always responded with 24 hours. I have gone through 2 firmware updates with no issues. I like the Ismartgate Pro as it worked as advertised and out of the box. This was the solution I was waiting on. I recommend it to others that are looking to adding intelligence to existing old, dumb garage door openers.

This is the best smart garage system for Apple users. It works seamlessly with HomeKit and is easy to install with a little bit of time and setup. Customer support is very responsive through email and willing to support. The system shows in my Apple CarPlay and you can automate the open and close when leaving or coming home. This system replaced the brutal chamberlain myq system I tried initially.
