Easy to install, good features, reliable,
I used it on my garage, and stopped carrying the garage door remotes.
The camera clarity is really good, and night vision is pretty good too.
Motion detection is pretty sensitive and gives alerts on minor differences as well. Hence Very good.
Issues:
1) I found that some improvements like correct time zone syncing is needed, as there is a little diff between my time zone and the time marked on the video by 2Hrs. I reached out to the tech support, and they respond pretty faster, though my issue is still not fixed, I am sure that will soon address it about the time zone synchronization.
2) Google Home linking is broken as of now, and doesn't work, and the tech support, says that it is being addressed.

not as good as what I expected, but it works
I bought a whole set of Alcidae product ( 2 Visioners, 1 Tracer and 1 Garage2), having no problem to set up others but the garage2, it just not able to connect to WiFi, after many try I decide to contact their Tech support, Calling many time their 800 # promised 24/7 but one answer the phone, fortunately some one called me back after many tried and left message for the answering machine. he guided me go through the steps that I already done it many times, finally he believed it was hardware issue. Nothing he can do, asked me to return, refund and reorder, so I did, I understand this type of problem does happen time to time. the garage_2 has significant delay action but it works.

I was initially very excited about this unit because the design looked quality, and with the initial unboxing there were no red flags. The trouble started when I attempted to connect it to the wifi. After inputting the correct information multiple times, I still couldn’t get the camera to connect to the app. Then I realized it was ALREADY connected to another account, and it gave me a wonky error message: “this device has been account binded.” The email address listed had the wrong amount of digits to be my own. YIKES. And the phone number listed for HELP on the error message was NOT a real connection and had no country code (I received a “call cannot be completed as dialed” message). At this moment I cut my losses so fast that I don’t think I’ve ever returned something more rapidly.
This is a cheap, unreliable system with a miserable app and non-existent tech support. It’s really too bad. The magnet design is cool in concept.

It was easy to install and set-up. It did take 4 tries to install the app, but that was because I did not have the blue flashing light when I showed the QR code to the camera. It is best to install the app on phone and make it work before you place it in the final location. The wire is 16 feet, and should suffice to put it in the location of our choice. Also, you may need extension chord to supply power, if you don't have an outlet near by. Alcidae Smart Home/Life skills do not work with Alexa. Garager skill works with Alexa only to open/close the door (via echo dot, Alexa app on the phone, etc.). Alexa link needs some improvement as the video is not able to be shown on TV. This is a wonderful device and I would recommend it to anyone.
