Life is a series of events, one leading you to another. The hell I lived through with my drug-addicted parents led me to the Marine Corps. Committing my life to my country was easy. My brothers were my family - all I had and all I needed. I wasn’t looking for her, but I should have known life had other plans.

It led me to her.

From the moment we met, I knew he was different - I just didn’t realize he'd change my life. He was a guy on leave, an acquaintance. Until he was something more, something unforgettable. I never imagined he'd leave 10 days later, taking a piece of me with him. Then again, maybe I did know. I just didn't care.

He was worth it.

What an incredible story that really makes you feel many emotions. You can literally feel the love between these characters and the storyline was real. Slade and Austyn’s story was so incredibly beautiful and heartbreaking at times. But it was perfect. I loved the pace of the story. I loved seeing them just starting out and getting to know each other, and seeing them go through the struggles of him being away for training and then getting deployed. I don’t think I’ve seen a better bound and connection between two characters in a book like I did with this couple. Their support and devotion to each was incredible. The love they had was beautiful and I loved how supportive her parents were throughout the book.
This book was just as beautiful as it was emotional. I started crying a little when he was boarding to get deployed and he was making sure she knew what she meant to him.
My only complaint is I would’ve liked to have known what happened with Spiller, and also Brandon and Savannah. There was no mention of them in the epilogue and I thought it was just left hanging.

HALLELUJAH! A book were the guy is a virgin! I've been patiently waiting for someone to write about a guy who has his first sexual experience! I'm seriously stoked.

This was a tough read as it has some difficult scenes. I feel as if Slade and Austyn grew up before my eyes. Slade broke my heart. I absolutely felt for him. I couldn't imagine being all by myself. He had it hard. But when he found Austyn and her family he found his freedom. I love how this book made me feel. I think this was a honest to goodness love story. I'm smiling through my tears.

The only downfall for me was their age. He was just turning 19 and she turned 19 shorty after. I'm old enough to be their mom. My niece is their age. I just had a difficult time taking in their experiences as a 19 year old. They acted way older. And their sexual encounters were off the hook hot, but again it was as if they were 30. It just wasn't believable.

With that being said this was an extremely wonderful read. I sincerely enjoyed it. I'd highly recommend.

This is the first military romance I've read and I was completely hooked from the beginning! This didn't feel like some crazy, over the top romance plot. Pull You Through felt like it could have been a true story about two young people who truly fell in love with each other. It is such a beautiful story.

I instantly fell in love with Slade, he didn't have an easy life, but he didn't let anything hold him back. He is probably one of the most real male heroes I have ever read. You connect with him, you feel all his emotions. You want him to succeed in everything. I also felt the same way about Austyn. She wasn't over the top emotional or fake. It was easy to fall in love with both of them and with their stories.

Things weren't always easy for the two of them, but they didn't let that hold them back. They found a way to make it work between them, to fight for each other. Because it was so easy to form that connection with Slade and Austyn there were times I felt like my heart was breaking with them.

I do wish we got a little more about their friends though, I would have loved to read more of what happened with them at the end of the story. But, regardless, this is such a beautifully written story about two young lovers.

Kaylee Ryan…. No words. I don’t think I e ever cried so much reading a book as I did this one. Just pulled at my heartstrings and being a military wife, it hit home a little. Loved it.

Slade was dealt such a bad hand and you would think it would make him a jerk or a player but no his grandmother had such an impact on him. Made him a woman ideal man.

Austyn had the perfect family and wants to wait for Mr right. She's surrounded by love. It's what she wants. Then her friend and her boyfriend bring these two together and it's like world's collide.

These two are so perfect and respectful of the other. They become each other's first and last.

Only problem is Slade signed up for the Marines and only has a few days with her. This book rocked my heart to pieces. The emotions coming off of them is intense. It's raw and real.

I love that the author took the time to let us get to know the characters individual and as a couple. You can feel the connection grow to love. The secondary characters are so vital to the story.

I cried like a baby with the good and other parts I don't want to ruin. Such a beautiful journey that I was sad to let these characters go but they are definitely in good hands.

This is a great story to read after a highly intense or dark book.

Slade, a Marine scarred by a turbulent childhood, finds solace and purpose in the camaraderie of the Corps. Life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Austyn during a brief leave.

Austyn senses something special about Slade. She knows he is leaving in a few days, but their connection is very genuine.

HEA

Has the feel of an all-American, religious romance, but there is graphic intimacy. There is some tragedy near the end, and I felt the author left a few loose ends, but overall it was a safe and gentle story.

“I love you, Austyn. If I'm honest, that’s really not a strong enough word for what you bring to my life, for what you’ve given me.”

This is a sweet story that beautifully explores themes of healing, family, connection, and the enduring impact of love.

Pull You Through is a sweet military romance with relatively low angst and a decent amount of heat. Kaylee Ryan did not disappoint with this one!

I adored Slade and Austyn and how naturally their relationship developed. Their chemistry is good and the book is well written. The main thing keeping this from being a full 5 Star for me was the pacing. There was a lot of redundancy at the beginning of the book and the ending felt rushed. Otherwise, I loved it.

I read this book after seeing a recommendation for it. I am so glad I did. The love story of Slade and Austyn is so endearing and inspirational. It highlights the harsh realities of being in love with a man serving his country but also the deep commitment and love of friends and family. A heartwarming read that I highly recommend.

What started out as a plan to read a few chapters quickly turned into an all nighter. I fell in love with Slade from that first moment in the principal's office. Then again and again as his and Austyn's story evolved. I found myself sighing alot, sweet sighs, happy sighs, sexy sighs, sad sighs, funny sighs, omg sighs, stressful sighs, and of course emotional sighs. The characters are amazing from Austyn's parents, little brother and best friend Savannah to Slade's fellow marines Brandon, Spiller and Jeffers. They all help contribute to this incredible story in their own way. Pull You through is one of my top reads so far this year!!! Fantastic Kaylee Ryan, absolutely fantastic! I will be reading this one again :)

This book has got to be her best yet. I have read most of Kaylee Ryan's books, but this is definitely her most authentic and real book yet.
Being in a military relationship myself, this book nailed all the emotions and tensions that are experienced by both sides. And boy did she capture the feelings.
Both Slade and Austyn wormed their way into my heart and I think this story will stick with me.
It is a fabulous book and I definitely recommend.

Simple, uncomplicated story with rock solid characters is a pleasure to read.

Kaylee Ryan takes a high school senior on a journey and we get to go along for the ride. There’s nothing fancy about her writing or the people. Down to earth, humble, hard working, dedicated. The determination and perseverance displayed consistently throughout the book makes it a winner.
