Wow. This shampoo bar was way better than expected.
I got this because after my pregnancy, whether due to hormone changes, stress, or both, the seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp was getting out of hand. I've always had this condition but prior to my pregnancy, I would only flare up during times of extreme stress. But after pregnancy, it was constant to the point that some parts of my scalp felt raw and I was losing hair.
Being an avid shampoo bar user, I can compare to all the other brands I have used (Viori, Arencia, Ethique, etc). This one was very nice. The size is great . It's bigger than all the brands I named and should last a long very time. It produces thick, creamy, sensory appealing lather. It has a great minty scent and tingly menthol sensation. It's not overly harsh on hair although a conditioner afterward is highly recommended, especially f you have need to use frequently/daily. It did strip the toner/color from my highlights. But, after only three shampoos, the condition of my scalp is already improved and the raw areas seem to be healing and not as sensitive. It's still too early to say if this will cure me or if my hair will come back to it's original fullness, but this is a medicated shampoo that I can see myself using and sticking with, because this may be something I will need to use on an on going basis to manage my condition.
I rub this bar on my body too while I shower. Breastfeeding can cause fungus from baby's mouth to transfer to mother's skin, which happened to me. I have prescription medication from my doctor for it but this bar immediately soothes itching fits associated this problem.
I'm very happy to have found this product. If you suspect you may be suffering any of the scalp conditions listed in the description, definitely give this a try. It's an inexpensive and easy way to see if this will work for you.

The first thing to relieve my day to day Seborrheic Dermatitis quickly!
I was diagnosed back with Seborrheic dermatitis last fall. It was very weird to me as I never have had a dry or unhealthy scalp or dandruff. All of a sudden I had a horrible itchy scaly scalp and red irritations all over my forehead and neck. It was miserable, itchy, and painful. I also have a highly sensitive immune system so flare ups also made me feel feverish, fatigued, and sore all over.I was prescribed a prescription Ketoconazole shampoo to use regularly with some creams to lessen itching. The first flare up faded on its own after a couple weeks. Cut to about 4 months later and a flare up came back full force. I felt miserable and the shampoo was only helping a bit. The bumps and irritation faded a bit to not be unbearable, but it was still very visible and embarassing. Also itchy and painful at times.I really wanted to find immediate relief, the shampoo and creams helped on an overall level but only slightly and it didnt give relief to the immediate relief (I didn't want to present at my new job covered in a rash and was missing normal sleep).This shampoo gave me exactly that! I am on day three and I have had no redness, scales, or bumps on my face or neck. It even cleared my acne! I feel so much better and entering day 3 I am barely even itchy. I am going to try to give my poor scalp a break and not scrub it today. I know its too early to call this a total win but if it doesn't hold up I will update. But for now, I am happy to feel like myself for the first time in weeks and not be focused on the mirror watching my forehead explode. So grateful.(One note, I do recommend a good conditioner, as this can be drying on hair, but it is worth it for me at this time!)
